Doesn't care about you
Don't care about your pain doesn't care about your time. Every single appointment I am waiting at the very minimum 45 minutes before they even call me back to take my weight and my blood pressure and then you still don't see him for another 20-30 minutes. I complained the last time I had an appointment which was 2 weeks ago and I heard him in the room next door talking to the patient before me and then he runs off like a coward and sends in a nurse practitioner that I've never met before in my 33rd week of pregnancy because he knew I had to go to the ER the previous weekend I called his office at 8:00 a.m. and left a message on their machine because they never pick up their phone you do not get to talk to a real person unless you just want an appointment your literal only option is to leave a message I left a message at 8:00 a.m. and a nurse didn't call me back for my emergency and blinding pain until 2:00 p.m.. then only spend 5 minutes in the room. I have never had personal communications with this horrible doctor but I can tell you if I had the opportunity to fight to have his license revoked I would. My daughter had my granddaughter less than a month ago and unfortunately Mr Hurd was the doctor on call for the weekend she was there. Now know this is her first and only child, she and her husband were the only ones allowed in the hospital due to COVID. At first I didn’t like this but actually think now it is really good because it gives the parents bonding time. Well that is if the doctors set expectations and actually tells you what is going on and when. No one told them what to expect with the baby, how much she should eat, how many diapers to expect or is needed, when the baby needed to go to the nursery, that there were test to be ran in the nursery, what to expect when they went home - NOTHING. My daughter is no stranger to pain and has had ovary issues since she was 14. She is now 27. She is well aware of her pain levels. S

My wife was having contractions every 5 minutes for over 30 hours straight. She is considered high-risk because her last pregnancy ended in an emergency C section. We went to the hospital three times over two nights, each time begging to either be admitted or at least to be sent home with something for the pain or to help her sleep. Each time, Dr. Hurd told us with indifference, he would do nothing for us, to go home. I will tell everyone I can to never use Dr. Hurd

Dr. Hurd is the best OBGYN doctor I have ever had. He is always asking how I am doing and not just worried about the baby. He is wonderful in times of stress and has a special way of making you feel calm and he seems to have a way of bringing you peace. He has a wonderful sense of humor and he makes you feel like a friend or family member instead of just another patient. So I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a wonderful OBGYN doctor.
