Saw Dr. Born at Swedish in Redmond and she was kind in indulging my odd conversation and I made a promise to thank her officially here. If she remembers, I did get that orange hazelnut cheesecake within 6 months of my visit. it was june 3rd.

If you are injured or I'll and this "Doctor" comes into your room, it would be in your best interest to seek care elsewhere. I have had the same physician for years, but had an emergency after my PCP office had closed. I was advised to go to the ER, and now learned what a mistake it was. Without putting my health to the public, let's just say Dr. Born's approach is far from usual. It felt like she was using me for her own scientific experiments. For example, a patient is vomiting and can't control the nausea from pain, Dr. Born suggested I try an anti-pyschotic?! What! Not just one, but one that had been taken off of the market back in 2000 and just launched again. Dr. Born also was dismissive about why I was at the ER. She never brought relief of nausea or pain to me. I'm left baffled as to how a doctor is okay with not keeping a patient comfortable during a visit. Not once did she try any testing to find out why I was having symptoms and how to treat them long-term which was not okay
