My appointment was set for 9:00am and we were all on time. Dr. Schloff asked questions which were pertinent and appropriate labs were ordered. Over a year ago, my mother was referred by Dr. Schloff to a gastroenterologist for chronic diarrhea. My mother also complained of back, and later, hip pain. On July 12, 2022 my brother and I attended an appointment with my mother where Dr Schloff fired off questions and did not wait for my mother to answer. When asked about the gastroenterologist's report, she had a hard time finding it in the chart. We question if she even read it. Her recommendation was 'you have chronic diarrhea, learn to live with it'. Dr Schloff interpreted a recent hip x-ray as arthritis. Two weeks later, we took my mother to a new PCP who quickly identified that one of her medications was likely causing the diarrhea. Bloodwork revealed very low sodium which required a trip to the ER, likely due to chronic diarrhea. After various imaging tests, my mother was diagnosed on 8/7/22 with advanced metastatic cancer, which is now in her bones. This explains her back and hip pain. Avoid Dr Schloff at all costs.

My First Visit On Monday

Had a female exam. Mentioned something that I had noticed, she didn't believe or check. I made her schedule me an ultrasound which confirmed what I had said in the first place. Very insensitive, poor bedside manner. Wouldn't recommend.
