Do not become a patient of Dr. Adamovich
My mother is in her 80's and saw Dr. Adamovich two times. I cannot recommend this doctor. I recommend avoiding this office at all costs! First, they called in the incorrect dosage to the pharmacy for medication that Dr. Adamovich prescribed. Then, the nurse blamed it on the pharmacy and said 'you can never trust computers...' Then, after a DAT scan, I took my mother for another appointment. Dr. Adamovich delivered a serious diagnosis in one sentence. She offered no explanation to my mother about the illness, just that she was prescribing medication. She offered no information to me as caregiver. My mother got sick on the medication. Dr. Adamovich's nurse told her to stop the medication and to call back on Monday. Although my mother and I placed numerous calls and left messages, our calls were never returned! The office just ghosted us and my mother was left without care! We went to WVU to a special center. They provided exceptional care. Do not go to this doctor. She is unprofessional.

office staff is defensive and incompatent
So I have medial power of attorney over my Mothers care. Their office was instructed to call me and not my Mother as she is very confused because of her Parkinson's. When I went into the office to voice my concerns with Melissa the nurse she immediately became defensive. Both visits my Mother had with Dr Adamovitch she was prescribed medication and had issues with side effects. Both times she was instructed to stop taking the dedication with no other alterative medication. Melissa told me my mom was basically a problem patient because she could not tolerate the medicine. When I asked her if there were any alternative medications for my mom to take she said. NO. but in the same breath said if there was to be a change in medication my mom would have to make an appointment. I then became upset. Melissa got the office manager who then said she would call security. Bottom line for me is they dismissed my Mother as a patient without tending to her care.

Not impressed
Waited an hour to be seen. She literally stabbed my legs with a toothpick and banged on me with the reflex test hammer. Did range of motion on arms and legs. She scheduled me for an EMG with her, but I canceled. I would not recommend her at all.

Great Office!
I am very disappointed and concerned about some of these poor reviews. I have been seeing Brenda Adamovich for 8 years and genuinely value and appreciate her opinion and treatment of my condition. Sometimes people are so quick to spread negativity because they are unhappy or did not get the answer they wanted. I am a retired physician and know healthcare is hard to navigate and we can't always give our patients what they think they want. I also know wait times are a little longer at times because she does not rush any patient. If she spends time with me because I have a lot of concerns, she will spend just as much time with the next patient. The staff are friendly and always go above and beyond and do all they can to get what needs done!

Her rating of 2.4 is too high
This doctor is not well organized or focused. Each time I had an appointment it was like the first time she saw me. She scratched information about me on a paper towel during visits. She discharged me when I asked for a second opinion.

Very disappointing
First visit was fine, unfortunately she seemed to make up her mind to the issue then and despite further diagnostic results; did not change it. Second visit was an hour and 15 minute wait for a 5 minute visit in which she seemed to forget all history and previous assessment and was unable to figure out why first diagnosis was wrong or what to do next .

Jekyll/Hyde
First visit was wonderful—very caring, thorough, and prescribed medication that worked like a miracle for my migraines. Then other health challenges resulted in my employment ending. Once that happened and I became a medicaid patient, the whole vibe changed. I needed help trying to get the migraine miracle from a safety net program, and office staff, particularly Nurse Melissa, was unhelpful, rude, and lied, not only to me, but to the kind people at the safety net foundation. When I told Dr. Adamovich my concerns, she condescendingly told me if I wanted my medication, I should get a job, and then went on to question why I had not tried other medications, as if it were somehow my doing that she started me on the miracle medication rather than other meds. I will not be going back. Ever.

Rude and unorganized
I would rate a zero if that was an option. Physician treating me like a new patient every visit. Refused to order diagnostic testing for headaches even though my symptoms were changing stating testing wasn’t necessary. The office made errors ordering medication and blamed me for their mistakes. She ordered medication contraindicated to one of my conditions which I questioned. She was upset because she claimed she was unaware I had the condition even though it was discussed at length with her and is documented in my chart. My last visit I waited two hours to be seen and she was rude. She wasted 9 months ordering medication that did not work and no testing.

Dr. Adamovich is very thorough, with testing, explanations, and review of testing. Staff is hit-or-miss. The ms coordinator can seem snippy, is hard to reach, and doesn't follow up with additional information very well.

Dr. Brenda Adamovich is responsible for causing one patient to go through so much vile hardship for reasons unknown in relation to simple common sense. She has ignored her responsibility to perform respectfully without consideration of one patients immediate health and well being. She is not in this profession with the duty of caring for her patients. I would advise all to go to a caring Doctor instead.
