I contact the office today to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Acosta. The girl who answered the phone said that the Dr. does not give a diagnose, she needs to have my Primary Dr. tell her why am I in need of her services. I told her that I have been gaining weight due to most likely a hormone imbalance. Then she began to tell me that the Dr. didn't specialize in weight loss. I told her it was about weight gain and hormone changes. She kept on saying that the Dr didn't do anything about weight. Has anyone EVER heard such absurdity? My Primary Dr. only recommends what Dr. to see, but he can not diagnose something before I see the "specialist". The girl who answered the phone (I believe her name is Erica) was very curt and couldn't care less about what I was saying. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

The office staff was very helpful. They were able to schedule an appointment for me right away. Dr. Acosta is very friendly and helpful. She was able to set up a new treatment plan for me that works well for my new diagnosis of Diabetes. She explained all of my new medication in detail and she was very understanding of my many questions. Overall a great experience with a diagnosis that I was not expecting.

I was nervous about my biopsy but Dr. Acosta and the staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease. My appointment was for 7:45 am and I went in at 7:45 am. I would highly recommend her to any one that needed this type of procedure.
