Dr. Henry has no idea or care about what tests may cost and ordered $2000 worth of testing for me for a gastro problem. I asked specifically about the use of melatonin and she said not a possible issue. Turns out it was. $2500 down the drain with my high-deductible insurance. She could care less about looking into your questions or ordering unnecessary DNA tests.

My first appointment with Dr. Henry was because my typical doctor was not available. I connected with her right away. She treats me for depression, which is always a hard appointment to make. She has always taken the time to listen to me and never made me feel rushed. I always leave my appointment feeling a little better, not ashamed or as a burden. Some doctors don’t seem to like to treat depressed patients, whether she does, or not, she makes me feel like I do need help, just like someone with the flu.

I met with Dr. Henry today. Her bedside manors were great. She spent a long time with me it was my first appointment with her. She was willing to listen to everything I said and she was trying her best to help me. My wife will be going to see her soon as well.

I have had Dr Henry a few times and typically can understand the other comments about her. Perhaps she isn’t opinionated but when you talk to her about an issue you are having and the multiple other doctors in the group and explain if you look in my file...you’ll see what worked...for some reason she makes up her mind to something else because you are a patient that fits into this block of others. I need a doctor in this group that listens and works with me instead of being a guinea pig.

Unfortunately, I have had to see Dr. Henry on a few occasions. She is not friendly AT ALL. She made me feel like it was a burden to "treat" me. I recently had to schedule an appointment for a cold - I was advised she was the only doctor available that day with an opening - I chose to deal with the cold rather than have to deal with her and her unwelcoming attitude and facial expressions.

I love Parkland Family Health, but I'm not particularly impressed with Dr. Henry. I have seen her a handful of times, and I feel like her understanding of general medicine is somewhat lacking. I also felt like she was a bit condescending when I spoke with her. I will try not to see her again, if possible.
