Caring and brilliant
Have had excellent care from Dr Yellman. He understands my illness—ME/CFS— and is always up on the latest research and has new treatments to suggest to improve my health status. He listens to me. Staff has been excellent.

I have been seeing Dr. Yellman for over a year now. He takes his time and reviews all available information prior to making a diagnosis. His attention to detail and duty to his patients is Outstanding. His was able to correctly diagnose and treat my autoimmune condition. I love being able to move again. If I could give advise to any patient seeing a Rheumatologist. Come prepared to your appointment. Have you complete medical records. A Diagnosis is only as good as the information available.

He seemed like he had made up his mind that my illness was in my head. Only focused on a few of my symptoms and only wanted an MRI (expensive) to “accurately” diagnose me. All of the other symptoms were completely dismissed. My health history that was put in my chart was inaccurate and only further lead me to believe he wasn’t interested i treating me. I felt dismissed and humiliated. Working myself in Healthcare I was extremely disappointed in his very limited care and would not recommend him.

Dr. Yellman spent the time with me I needed. I wasn't just there for an exam and rheumatology workup, but to talk as well. He listened to me. His medical assistant was great and spent the time to help me feel better about what I'm going through. She was interactive and asked open ended questions so she could get the most accurate information to Dr. Yellman before he came in the room. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Yellman to my friends and family!

I waited four months for an appointment and was late twenty minutes due to freeway There was no one in the lobby and the receptionist told me I was late the dr wouldn't see me. I have never met him but found this lack of understanding very offensive. The receptionist was nice but clearly they could improve their personal interest and concern. I have waited hours for doctors. Could they just have tried to fit me in or try and reschedule. Instead I felt insulted and rejected. I won't go back.
