Poor customer service
I actually never saw this Dr. I made appointments 2 months ago and my husband had a work matter and couldn’t make his appointment. I asked to switch my appointment with my husband and the person Brandy working the phones told me that there were 20 others in call center and if I cancelled my appointment someone else could grab it. And then I was told I couldn’t reschedule because Dr Hamish was no longer taking new patients. I told Brandt I would just find another doctor for my family.

Dr. Hamish is a lifesaver and I have always received nothing but professional and excellent care. He has made sure I am seen by a specialist when required. He has a wonderful demeanor and is very enjoyable. He has a great sense of humor, you just need to get to know him. The staff at his location is as amazing as he is. Always kind and considerate. How blessed I am to have such a caring PCP here in Corpus Christi, TX.

This has got to be the most condescending jerk I have ever had the privilege of handing over my money to. The drs in this town have forgotten something. It may be my insurance company that pays you but I pay them and I tell them who to pay, and when I walk into a dr’s office, guess what, they work for me too now. This obnoxiously rude “dr” was more concerned that I was upset about the care I received from a specialist they sent me to, and the audacity of me having the gall to question another god on high. Bedside manner? Lol, I’ll be shocked if he’s ever heard those words. He then looks in my mouth, and tells me a cavity is more than likely the reason I’ve lost 70lbs in a few months, am throwing up blood, throwing up multiple times a day everyday, and excoriating cramps all over my torso. After going to a GI in San Antonio, I was given some diagnosis that changed my life. Funny, they didn’t think any of it came from a cavity. He deserves a refund from the medical school he went to.

Dr Hamisch has been my Dr for many years now. By far the best Dr I have ever had. His attention to detail, the way he listens, & how he doesn’t throw a prescription at you for every little thing impresses me. He also has an amazing memory. I told him on my first visit that my son was a rheumatologist & he has remembered that ever since. Highly recommend!

Dr Hamisch is usually nice and helpful. He can be a bit abrupt, but he doesn’t seem to intend to be rude or dismissive; it’s just how he is. If you’re not used to that style it can come off as a bit dismissive. He’s more hands-off than other doctors. He doesn’t write ‘scripts or suggest other treatments as often or readily as other doctors. If that’s an approach you like, it’s probably a good fit. It’s not a great fit for me, but isn’t necessarily bad.

wont see my 81 year old mother for a post op check up from a MVA unless she pays cash and refuses to file her insurance. Dr. Hamisch is such a caring person I cant believe he is dumping her after him being her pcp for years. No one knows her better than him and all she needs is stitches removed. Even her insurance was surprised he had an office policy like that.

Dr. Hamisch is the best family doctor I have ever had. Unlike other doctors I have had, he actually LISTENS, he discusses my health with me (a two-way conversation), and he explains his diagnosis and actions in a way that lets me understand what he proposes doing and why.
