Disrespectful, unprofessional, lacks knowledge
After describing my symptoms, the doctor had a “stumped” look on his face and said “huh”. When he read my scan results, he said he’d “never seen this” before and told me to follow up with a specialist. English is my second language and he looked right past me to communicate with my wife, a native English speaker the whole time (she deferred to me, of course).

Careless, unkind
Dr. Blakely paid minimal attention to my family member in the ED, and then discharged them when they were unable to walk, sit up, toilet, or move without excruciating pain after a fall. A visit to a different ED days later because of incapacitation revealed a concussion that was causing delirium, broken vertebrae, a broken wrist, and low blood pressure. My family member was admitted to the second hospital for 3 days, followed by a 10+ day stay at an acute rehabilitation hospital -- but Dr. Blakely discharged them home after only minimal tests the day of the fall. Absolutely negligent.
