Very pleased
I went to Dr. Styron for a rash that did not go away after my GP said it was an ' undetermined rash'. Dr. Styron immediately saw that it was shingles and provided treatment. Additionally, I went for spots on my forehead that were precancerous. She also treated that. I found her to be very professional and courteous. The staff in the front office were extremely friendly.

Finally a dermatologist that was able to help
After seeing multiple dermatologists for my eczema and just being given one topical/oral steroid after another, Dr Styron was the first doctor to let me know that there are other options for treating eczema outside of steroids. Thanks to her, I've been 90% improved for the past year and a half. She and her office staff are also great at being persistent with working with these insurance companies to make sure the treatments are covered.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Styron
I went twice with a painful, itching rash which she never even looked at. She sent me home with some cream. Told me to go swimming. I have been diagnosed with prurigo nodularis and should have been treated all along. Zip.

Was told to schedule a visit if I had concerns due to a cosmetic mistake on her behalf. While at the visit, I was informed I would be charged for additional treatment. Since I turned down the procedure (because of the additional cost), she proceeded to charge me for an office visit, meanwhile performing no services. I would have appreciated a phone call or email in advance instead of wasting more time because of a huge mistake on her behalf. Really surprised and disappointed at her audacity considering the fact she calls herself a professional.

She's not very good at surgery. I came to have a lipoma removed. Her work was sloppy and caused a massive hematoma on my arm. I've had dozens of lipomas removed (by other doctors) and nothing like that had ever happened. And when I went to have the stitches removed, the nurse remarked on how overly tight the stitches had been tied. I don't think she has much experience with surgeries. I wont be going back to her.

Dr. Styron is truly one of the best. Her caring and sweet disposition is very calming to a nervous patient. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a very knowledgeable and understanding doctor. She patiently answers all my questions, is always on time and is an excellent asset to the practice.
