Dr. Bradley Mikaelian, MD

Had 4 unsuccessful ablations with this Dr the 4th being the worst. When i woke up in recovery i was in severe pain and was told there was a complication, i later found out from him that when he was pulling the catheter out he knicked my vessel and had developed a huge hematoma the size of a cantaloupe. He waited over 2 hours to call someone else in and they took me to emergency surgery. From that surgery i had 2 months of horrible pain and had to walk with a walker while also having to pay someone to come in and take care of me and loads of other expenses due to his mistake. Needless to say he isnt my Dr anymore and i would advise to stay away.

I have been in the care of some outstanding EPs at Johns Hopkins and at Papworth-Everard Hospital in the United Kingdom, and Dr. Mikaelian is equal to any of them. Under his care, my heart performance has improved markedly, due to his expert treatment. I never expected to see my heart performance improve at my age, but Dr. Mikaelian is at the top of his game and knows the state of the art for electrophysiology as well as anyone I've met. He is singularly outstanding.

A caring physician who is comfortable taking the time to explain everything and carry on a good conversation.

I have met with Dr. Mikaelian two times and each time he has been very genuine in his approach to me as a patient. I am given the time to ask questions and does his best to answer them along with offering the best treatment plan for me.

I underwent an Ablation with Dr M on Wed, Jan 20, 2016.. It was a decision that I had pondered for many months. Dr M did not use any tactics to convince me to have this procedure done but did all he could to help me understand my options and method of treatment. The procedure went well and everyone was kind, understanding and helpful. As I recover now, I have hope that Dr M has helped me with my SVT and that I can expect a better quality of life.
