Do your research on a podiatrist surgeon, when considering buniomectomy or any type of foot surgery. There is huge difference in expertise.

I am so unhappy with my experience, I saw this provider for the removal of two ingrown toenails. At first visit was told it would take awhile to schedule the procedure. He asked if I would like him to trim one with a clipper on one corner to make me more comfortable(something I could have easily done myself). I said sure and was subsequently billed 600.00 for that “procedure” which my insurance paid part of. After they were removed and I went back for a follow up, I told him I thought they were growing back. He said “no that is just scabs from the procedure.” I now have two toenails that are worse than before and no longer have insurance. I was charged more than 3500.00 to make my problem worse. I also called to see him before my insurance lapsed and was told there were no available appts.
