Felt relieved when talking to him
Went in for chest pain, had an ekg, and xrays done. The great bedside manner made me feel like a person, not a number haven't had much faith in MMC but seeing him put me at ease. Told me exactly what I wanted to know and explained the steps moving forward.

This Dr. Layton is the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor in my 39 years of life. He has no ethical values, no bedside manner, his people skills much less patient care is the worst experience I have ever come across in my 20 years working in health care. He is beyond arrogant and one of the rudest men ever. He is definitely one to give Maury Regional a bad name! If anyone comes into the the ED here and has him ask for someone else, if you want good care.... Pathetic excuse doctor

My mother was seen by Dr. Layton twice in ER. Both times she presented with the same symptoms and both times Dr. Layton basically said "Well, we don't know what is wrong with you, so you can go home now." We specifically asked for a urine culture the last time and we were told it would be done, but it was not done. Very disappointed in this doctor's failure to diagnose. He was very nice, but diagnosing is key. I don't like writing negative reviews, but hope my comments will help future patients

very self centered DR. that spouts out research but doesn't listen to a word you are trying to tell him. Worst ER so called Dr. that I have ever had and will give the Er at MCRH a bad name. You will die waiting for him to care , show compassion or even just help. HIS EGO hAS TO go. i HOPE HE NEVER has to run into an ER Dr. for himself -- then maybe he should and then maybe he will figure out why he went into medicine. Wasted his money and is of no help to people that need it.
