Misdiagnosed illness
My son was seen by this incompetent doctor and was treated so poorly after visiting Huntington hospital 10 times. My son was finally hospitalized at Glendale Adventist with Costochondritis and an Ulcer. This stupid doctor recommended he see a psychiatrist and continue taking ibuprofen in addition to anxiety medication which only aggravated his ulcer .

Good, knowledgeable doctor
Dr. Gerberich was wonderful and exactly the doctor we needed. He was the fourth urgent care or emergency room doctor we'd seen in 3 days and he was the first one to know exactly what was going on with my son. He ordered the right tests, made the first correct diagnosis, and prescribed the best treatment to help my son recover quickly. So thankful we left CHLA and tried Huntington instead. In response to the criticism from other reviewers, I didn't think Dr. Gerberich was rude or had bad bedside manner at all. He was confident and efficient and put me at ease with his knowledge and plan. Was he soft and fuzzy and going to hug me and my son? No. But he was a GOOD doctor, which is all I really want or need from my doctors. Grateful we walked into his E.R. My son is better because of him.

The rudest doctor I’ve ever experienced. Huge ego. God complex. Just a miserable human being. Timely unprofessional. Not smart.
