Absolutely recommend!
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Cohen and his staff. He was kind, gentle and really listened to my concerns. He opted to change some medications I had previously been prescribed and I felt better shortly thereafter.

Always great service
I have seen numerous neurologists to find a solution to get some relief. Dr. Cohen was able not to deliver some relief, rather he was able to make my medical diagnosis disappear. The way his medical office operates has always addressed any questions or concerns that i might of had.

Stay away
My wife had a consult with Dr.Cohen. I was present and I’m in the medical field. He was rude, curt, did a bogus exam and wanted to prescribe strong meds prior to even performing and reviewing the emg results. He had a difficult time dealing with a husband and wife. He apparently couldn’t listen to two people talking, and not at the same time. I would never go back to him or refer my patients to this office.I wanted a copy of her office note and emg results to bring to the surgeon and the RUDE office staff said they won’t release the records until he speaks to the patient. Medical records are the property of the patient and he refuses to send them just so he can get another few for an office visit.STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE.

Stay away
Stay away from this place. They tried to charge my son for fraudulent fees on tests he had already paid for. Despite paying the copay and for the tests, they exaggerated the number and cost of the tests. Additionally, they performed the tests without his consent, and when confronted, the doctor personally handed him the inflated bill, contradicting the earlier assurance that insurance would cover them. Their behavior was very unprofessional.

Bradley Cohen is only concerned with getting you out of his office. He does not listen to concerns and is dismissive. Don't ask a question or he will be displeased. He'll give you another prescription if it gets you out of his exam room.

Find someone else
Calls you to come in sooner than schedule appt so he can leave early, rushes your appointment, has a chip or an attitude if you don't answer questions to his liking, or gets annoyed if you ask questions, poor bedside manner, acts like he is doing you the favor of seeing you. Does not explain the process to your (patients understanding) explains it how he wants to. Staff were pleasant but also where unsure of how to answer certain questions because the doctor (their boss) can be difficult, the words they used.

Very good neurologist
Dr. Cohen is great! I suffer from horrible migraines and since I've been going to him, my migraines are under control. With my new medication/regimen, I have not had a migraine in months. He's very nice, very helpful, personable. You never have to wait long in his office. His staff has always been nice to me. I live in Forest Hills, where there's plenty of neuros I could go to, but I travel to Garden City just to treat with him. Def recommend!

I'm cured!
I have been coming in with chronic headaches and I have been taking all of these OTC pain killers, Dr. Cohen told me to stop all of those meds because they are only short-term and it was like a dog chasing it's tail. So I took that leap of faith and followed his steps. He was like a coach and I was the team player. I would highly recommended him! Honestly I can tell he definitely knows what he is doing.

I had brain surgery in 2012 and suffer from migraines, aneurysm clips and a current aneurysm. I've been to many neurologists over the years and have been thoroughly disappointed. I had just about given up because none of them helped me and then I was referred to Dr. Cohen's office by my old boss and I have never looked back. He was the first neurologist that actually tried to help me, constantly trying new things and always ensuring I was satisfied with my care. I've had so many less migraines since Dr. Cohen helped me find the right treatment for me. He was the first neurologist that treated me not only as a patient but also as a human being and never EVER tried to tell me how I was or should be feeling, like many had done to me in the past. He always listened to how I felt and problem solved with me. I've always felt like I am a part of my treatment and my concerns truly matter. Also, the staff is extremely kind, patient and caring. Definitely recommend.
