Ridiculous Rules
So Dr. Smith, whom I have seen twice, is excellent, BUT the office rules are ridiculous. I have some new concerning symptoms and he is booked until mid March of this year. So I ask to see his partner and am told "no, for continuity of care." Instead I am referred to an ER, my primary or urgent care, all of whom will tell me to see my ENT, Dr. Smith. Instead I now have to go to another ENT practice. I can't wait until March since things are getting worse. How is this continuity of care??? I was able to get an urgent appointment with an actual ENT doc, not a PA. Ridiculous.

I found Dr. B. Smith on my own/in researching and know I made the right decision. The delay in appt. was due to the review of my new patient paperwork, well worth the wait. He was very thorough, listened/answered my questions, great listener and did not rush me out. I am going back in 6 mos. and actually look forward to the appt. which is odd! I highly recommend him and his staff was very good!

Dr. Smith is very professional and capable but also warm and compassionate. He took great care to explain every aspect of my procedure and allayed so many of my fears. He was highly recommended to us by a friend of ours, and I, in tun, highly recommend him as well. His staff was also very professional and handled all the insurance issues for us. Excellent doctor, wonderful staff.

Dr Smith dismissed my concerns and was quick to send me off to other doctors for a biopsy and treatment instead of helping me himself. This delayed a correct diagnosis of a rare cancer and treatment by many months. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Smith was personable with a sense of humor. However, when it came to getting test results, he was surely lacking. He gave us a cancer diagnosis for my spouse then left us standing in the hallway to wait for receptionist. Our heads were buzzing with the word cancer and we were standing in the hallway!! Dr. Smith, give your clients results asap and give cancer diagnosis patients some private time to absorb. Don't make patients have to hunt you down for results. No I would not recommend.
