Dr. Brad Paris, MD

Through many medical appointments with mom after her bladder surgery, Dr. Paris and staff have been so kind and thorough along with being wonderfully caring. Dr. Paris listens and actually cares about the health status of my mom. Thank you so much for all the care given to us thus far. Highly recommend Dr.Paris for colorectal issues. He is so calm and explains things in a way like we are family. Mom and our family can’t say enough good things about Dr.. Paris and every one of his staff. His PA is just as wonderful. He visited us in the hospital and drew out things. He gave us his time and cared. So thankful for them!!!

I went in for a colonoscopy to Springfield Clinic on November 6, 2019. While I was in the recovery room Dr. Paris came in and said I would need to return in 3 to 5 years. Knowing 3 years usually means they found items of concern (large polyps, certain pre-cancerous polyps etc., I was concerned. Later, when the biopsy results came back that 2 small hyperplastic polyps were present, I consulted the guidelines for assessing these results and they came back as if nothing had been found at all and a 10 year follow-up is recommended, not the 3 or 5 years Dr. Paris suggested. I reviewed the bills submitted by Springfield Clinic and Dr. Paris and they were over twice the Bluebook estimates for my zip code. When my insurance would not pay the $4700 bill I was stuck with paying over $1500 out-of-pocket when the Bluebook estimates for a colonoscopy with biopsy should of cost between $2100 and $2500 total. All this can be summed up by one word...GREED. Beware of Dr. Paris.

Post surgery comfort was accurately described before. Results of the surgery was positive and dramatic. This was a life changing experience. I feel better than I have for years. Merry Christmas Dr. Paris.
