Dr. Meister operated on me twice in the past year- first after I broke my femur in 2 places due to a fall, and eight months later for a hip replacement. I am of advanced age and six weeks after surgery I am now walking with very little use of a cane. I highly recommend him as I believe he gave me my life back. As now, I drive, walk every day and have full mobility.. We are very fortunate to have someone of his skill in this area. I am such a fan and am so grateful for him.

Im having issues with one hand, Trigger fingers
I was having issues with my fingers clicking and catching, rather than cutting tendons, I was injected with a medication that relieves the clicking and catching. Much better option than surgery

Great Apt with explanation of diagnosis, options
He listens to your story including what you hope to gain (not waking up with pain, lifting gallon jug, pulling a suitcase in airports) and offers all possible treatments. In my case, severe osteoporosis of shoulders and rotator cuff tears in two muscles, torn tendon. Options—I. Continuing pain control—dry needling , heat, diclofenac Na topical gel. 2. PT 3. Cortisone shot is shoulder 4. Surgery Complete shoulder replacement and fix other problems. We decided on all four—I would continue pain control, start PT, get cortisone shot, and put me on the surgery schedule late next summer as last resort! GOOD NEWS 24 hrs after Cortisone shot I’m feeling some relief, have had PT eval. Now I am doing (isometric only) exercises and PT therapist is gently manually stretching and dry needling.PS Don’t plan on needing #4 Surgery

He's Simply the BEST
I received shots in my knee however, they were non effective. I had a huge fear of pain and I had seen it in others after knee replacement and didnt want any part of it. Nobody was doing the slice and dice on my knee! But! I broke my foot on the opposite leg and was rendered basically crippled. Dr. Meister was granted thè honors of performing the slice and dice and I want to tell everyone, the day after the surgery, they gave me a walker and I used it 5 days and put it off to the side and was walking unassisted from then on. Now! The PAIN! Absolutely minimal. After the first week of being very cautious, I realized how blessed I am the surgery was à breeze, I was discharged from PT after 3 weeks and still, very few pain meds. I am so grateful for Dr. Meister and his knowledge and skills, he is simply the BEST and if I need it again, I will go to no one else to perform the slice and dice without hesitation 100%. Dr. Brad Meister. Make your appointment now.

Left Total Knee Replacement
As always Dr. Meister took the time on the morning of surgery to ask me if I had any other questions and if I was ready. When I seen the Dr before dismissal he made sure everything was right and that myself and my wife understood what I needed to do. It has been about five and a half weeks Dr has released me to returned to work. LTKR was a success. The knee is perfect.

150 percent.
Dr Meister did an excellent job on my knee replacement. I put off my knee replacement for a few years. He did an excellent job and everything went just as he stated. Dr. Meister will be doing my second knee in a few months. This surgery has changed my quality of life for the better.

Knee pain
Went for second knee injections. Thought maybe needed joint replacement but Dr Meister said they weren’t bad enough yet. Not worn out just arthritis. That was good news. Would recommend him to everyone.

First class surgeon!
I have been a patient of Dr Meisters for several years, so when there was no option but total knee replacement without hesitation I choose him. Dr Meister, John his PA and Jennifer his nurse are the best. Everyone involved from his office, to the OR to the recovery floor were all on top of their game. He runs a tight ship, and you can tell with the professionalism of his staff. We are so lucky to have him and the Southeast Kansas Orthopedic Clinic located here.

He was very to the point, but very thorough. He’s knowledgeable and speaks in a way you can understand. My autistic son was with me and had a meltdown. Although scary, the entire staff was very sweet and helpful, as was security who was on standby. I’d definitely recommend this office and doctor!

Dr.Meister was kind but very straight forward which is how I like things. He explained everything to me, discussed my options, and together we made a plan to move forward with hip replacement, provided I shed some excess weight. He was the first to congatulate my success , losing 25 pounds in 6 weeks. Here I am 6 weeks post op and only a couple more weeks until returning to work. Surgery was an absolute success. Everyone at both Parsons and Fredonia clinics are great. They are friendly, professional, and helpful. I would recommend anyone with orthopedic issues to call them and make an appointment.

Consultation for total knee replacements
I broke my lower leg 14 years ago and Dr. Miester did a great job fixing it. He even made sure to not affect my tattoo any more than necessary. So of course needing total knee replacements I'm here again. He is very knowledgeable, goes through the procedure and really listens to your concerns. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic issues. Thank you so much!!!
