Dr. Boris Kalika, DMD

Scheduled an appointment, for my child gave all the information over the phone with all my insurance information. Upon arrival I gave insurance information ID and cards, after I was taken back for a consult and after x-rays were taken they told me that the procedure would have to be performed at the hospital due to my secondary insurance being the participating insurance and that my primary insurance was out of network. This seemed like a money hungry move as this was not brought to my attention during scheduling the appointment, arriving for the appointment or prior to being seen for the appointment.

Terrible. My son went in for a consult on wisdom teeth. They took them out that day, great right, NO!!! No aftercare, no follow up, didn’t listen to our concerns, called with a problem and they said they couldn’t see him for over a week!! This is a kid, in pain. Said to take to urgent care. Could not be seen at any office sooner. PLEASE do not take your children here. Office was shady, should have known from the start, not even a sign on the building and a security guard at the door. (Haddon Heights) No empathy, terrible bedside manner, no respect for patients. Avoid at all costs!!!

Tried to get an appointment for an extraction. I have a referral from my dentist, and this practice was not listed but none of the others were in my plan. I was told they have to be listed on the referral form, so I called my dentist & they emailed the form and pictures. I called back to see if it was received and was told yes but it has to be “our referral form”. So I said can you send it to my dentist, and was told “no we don’t do that”. So how does one go about getting “their referral form”? I never heard of something so ridiculous and should have been told this the first time I called. Meanwhile my face is swollen, my tooth is killing me and I’m playing games with these rude idiots.

Dr Kalika has treated my entire family for several years now. We have had nothing but good experiences with him and his office.

Had all four wisdom teeth removed and was a little nervous. Dr. Kalika and his staff took the nervousness away and did a wonderful job! Very little pain and would recommend him to anyone!

If you need tooth extraction don't bother to call shore oral, I had extreme tooth ache and was given appointment 4 weeks, I ask receptionist if she had anything sooner and she said no she had nothing sooner, what kind od place is this with no emergencies.

Horrible attitude and poor customer service. Waited 2 weeks for the initial appointment. A week prior to the appointment my dentist's office was in contact with the "specialist" to send them the latest x-rays. Two days prior to my visit I was told I need new x-rays and will not be covered. After I contacted the insurance ... the x-rays are covered. I wonder if I never raised a question or contacted, I would have been ripped off. Last straw ... on the day of the appointment, Dr. Kalika refused to see me because I didn't have the referral slip even though that his office was in contact with the dentist prior and that could have been faxed or delivered later. Wasted my time waiting for this poor service, filling the papers, and listening to the rude doctor. Most of us have to fight our customers and go out of the way to please them - that is not the case at this office.

I called Dr. Kalika yesterday and told him my wisdom tooth cracked Friday night, right before the long Labor Day weekend, and I was in a good amount of pain. Not only did he get me in today (the day after I called), but he was able to pull the tooth. He and his entire staff were extremely accomodating and friendly! I give their office 5 stars and highly recommend them!!! Thanks again Dr. Kalika! ??

Dr. Kalika and his staff are very professional and courteous. My procedure was handled with the utmost’s care. I had no issues or discomfort that same day and days following. I highly recommend this office to anyone that is in need of an oral surgeon.

The best bedside manner. Great at calming down a very anxious patient. Explained everything. All the time in the world. Answered questions even if I asked the same Question many times!!! Called me ahead of my appointment with lab results — “so I wouldn’t worry”I hope I don’t need your services again but I’ll miss you!!

My son had a very positive experience with Dr. Kalika who removed two wisdom teeth for him. A very smooth procedure which led a quick recovery. What impressed us more is his quick responses to our calls and arrangements of additional appointment to make sure my son would be ok over the weekend. I will definitely recommend this doctor to my friends.

I am very upset that I had an unpleasant experience with him. He’s very arrogant and rude. Was not accommodating at all and seemed to not want to work and see patients. My daughter needs her tooth extracted and is in a lot of pain. I was not told that she bring a photo ID. I get there and she’s denied an appointment because of that. Now, I have to find someone else and wait for weeks. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Please, just go somewhere else. No one is nice there.

I had an implant today by dr kalika. Everyone was extremely kind. I hav NO pain after. Took 2 Motrin. Highly recommend this DR and staff. Had other procedures at this office and never had ANY problems

I had a very infected and painfull tooth during the pandemic. I can't say enough about how they turned a traumatic experience into a breath of relief. Both doctors were very comforting and very knowledgeable. They took away the pain, the fear and the infection and I would only go back to them for future needs. They deserve their top rating. Thank you Dr. Kalika for taking out that awlful tooth.

Dr boris did a fantastic job taking out my three wisdom teeth. I did not remember the procedure nor did I have much discomfort. Thank you.

DR KALIKA IS VERY GOOD...BUT YOU HAD BETTER GET A COMPLETE WRITTEN ESTIMATE BEFORE YOU BEGIN ANY TREATMENT.

Never again

I took my son to have one tooth pulled. $175 for the office visit, 130 for an unnecessary panoramic xray that could've been been sent from my regular dentist. $290 paid by my insurance. That's $595 for an extraction that took all of five minutes. Never again!

I googled Oral Surgeons last week in hopes of getting an appointment ASAP to have a deteriorated lower molar extracted. The Oral Surgery Office in Galloway was able to fit me in later in the week. I’ve had (4) teeth pulled over the last 5 yrs and this extraction was by far the most pleasurable experience I’ve ever had given the circumstances. Dr. Kalika and his entire staff were both professional and compassionate throughout it all, I would highly recommend using this surgeon. Sincerely, R.Russo

The pain I felt after my wisdom teeth removal was so minimal that if it wasn't for the stitches in my mouth I would not have known that they had not been removed at all. Dr. Kalika is a great and friendly doctor.
