WOW, i am so impressed with these reviews....i saw Dr. Halibey over 30 years ago and i can attest to the fact that these reviews are exactly how i felt at the time i was his patient....i am so grateful and blessed to have had him as my doctor....so glad to hear he is the same today as he was then...

We have met with Dr. Halibey a few times to discuss treatment for my father's aggressive bladder cancer. Every single time, he stayed and answered all our questions, repeated and explained every aspect in detail, multiple times for us as we needed to hear it multiple times. He is always patient, kind, and caring, as was his entire staff--from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. We felt we were in good hands with people who truly cared. I would highly recommend Dr. Halibey to everyone.

dr. Halibey and the entire staff are outstanding. when I was in the hospil they were there each day and took over my care from the hospitalists whom I didn't know and of course it's the drs. that I know and trust that I want. How they find time for all this personal care I don't know but that is what gets you through.

I had a minimal wait both in the waiting room and exam room, which was an improvement! The assistant was polite with her questions. Dr. Halibey entered the room with a soft handshake and discussed my mammogram results. This was followed by an examination which was thorough and mindful and humorous.

After leaving NYC’s SK with a short-term prognosis, unless a nonositive outcome surgery was performed, a year and a half later I’m still seeing my non-surgical (five star+) Dr. Hslibey. In ALL respects regarding a doctor-patient relationship, he exceeds that which could be wished for. Thank God for blessing one so skilled to also serve his community in a personal and professional style.

As a rule, I don't fill out reviews, but I strongly feel that the wonderful care given by Dr. Halibey and his staff has to be recognized. My experience with Dr. Halibey is as an observer (daughter of a patient). He is a compassionate, considerate, knowledgeable and respectful physician. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I started going to Dr. Halibey after having an extremely bad experience with another oncologist. I was a nervous wreck when I first saw him and I was alone. He started by first getting me to relax and calm down so that he could examine me and treat me for my breast cancer. I don't remember much of my first appointment because I had been so nervous. I would suggest that you bring someone with you to your first appointment so that they can help you remember what was discussed during your visit.

Doc Halibey has always given me his 100% attention. I was so impressed by how he took my initial diagnosis as immediately urgent, and actually called a ear,nose and throat doctor to get me an immediate no wait appointment . I drive out of my may to see him, as the comfort level is well worth the time invested.

Dr. Halibey comprehensively answers all questions and concerns.

Dr. Halibey and his staff are the best people to be with during this trying time. Dr. Halibey truly listens to all my questions (and I have many) and answers them intelligently and with respect. He always makes me feel confident that everything that can be done is being done. Not only is he a wonderful doctor but a terrific human being. I am very grateful to him for always being there.

Dr. Halibey puts you at ease from the moment you meet him. Very down to earth and kind. Feel confident under his care.

An occasion may rise when you will have to exercise patience and wait in the exam room and that’s because Dr. Halibey always affords patients his full attention, concern and compassionate care.

I was scared to death when I first met Dr Halibey but within a few minutes of talking with him I was calmed down. He can calm you down if you are scared and you will find him very knowledgeable about how to treat your Cancer. He is great. He gets to know you and doesn't forget who you are and what makes you tick. I never get to upset any time that I have to see him. When I had my Cancer, it seemed that I was hospitalized after each treatment because I developed an infection. He saw me everyday.

Dr Halibey is an outstanding oncologist. He is friendly, knowledgeable and articulate. When answering questions, he is articulate and concise. The treatment selected for the latest of my three cancers (6 chemo sessions) was aggressive and effective. I am currently cancer-free. He is highly recommended.
