Dr. Bobby Wu, MD

Nursing staff was outstanding. Took care of my every need. I was transferred from Franklin Ascension to Elm Brook. On blood thinners for a-fib. Had recent total reverse shoulder surgery on November 24, 2024. Fractured shoulder on 1-30-25. Husband died 1-24-25 have an extensive history of servere arthritis. Which has resulted in me working with a pain management Dr, who prescribes narcotics for pain management; along with other non-medication based alternatives to reduce the amount of narcotics used. The Dr met with me about my pain and was confrontational about getting my pain under control without medications and made the following statements, most people can control their pain with OTC pain meds and the amount of narcotics taken would put down a whale. He was dismisive of questions asked before and after surgery. Only after talking with pain Dr did he adjust medication and pain was controlled and maintained so I could be discharged with minimal med dosing needed. He was rude.

My doctor has talked very highly of Dr.Wu but my problem is I been referred to him and never seen him also my insurance been change 3x due to market places wants you to pay $122.00 a month for health insurance you can get a consult visit to see Dr. WU but due to the affordable act they want pay or help you get info for help with surgery but I'm paying $122 every monthgo to primary doctor only when needed. Sad we go thru so much and work n pay bills n taxes like everyone else. I really expect to get this surgery and come in and see the doctor whom I heard alot of good things about. But if anyone knows any info or other insurance that I can check into that dr. Wu takes do let me know asap. Thanks n be blessed and trying not to give up on this n get a consult from doctor wu n get surgery be a blessing as well.

Dr Wu took the time to explain my surgery to me, and to my wife the day of my surgery. Fantastic job to repair a hernia that I had let go for almost a bit too long. Thanks Dr Wu, you are a heckuva surgeon.

My experience was fantastic! Dr Wu took time to review my chart before I arrived and took the time to answered all of my questions and concerns. Nothing about the visit felt rushed or that he was focused on anything except explaining my care. Entire office staff is the same level of professionalism and friendliness! Would highly recommend!!!

I was very impressed with Dr Wu as he had taken the time to look up my chart and health issues including my current problem. He explained my situation so I could ask questions and had a complete understanding of my options. He also listened. He will be my choice of surgeon if my problem does not respond to other treatment.

I was made very comfortable,. Everything went as planned. Unexpected minimal pain. Great job

Dr. Wu is absolutely amazing. What a kind, gentle, and knowledgeable man. Because he was so thorough at my pre-surgery appointment, I had very few questions to ask. He explained the surgery to my family and answered their questions completely before wheeling me into the operating room...at 6PM on a Friday night! Because I was in pain, he added me to his busy Friday calendar. He had to do an emergency surgery before my surgery, but he didn't cancel my surgery and stayed into the evening to repair my hernia. My recovery was full and quick, which I attribute to his excellence care.
