In the room less than five minutes.
I used Dr. Johnson in the past but changed to another doctor. That office closed and i was forced to go back to Dr. Johnson. He spent somewhere around five minutes in the room with me. There are so few endocrinologist in my area and I don't have a lot of other options. I would like to find one that actually takes at least ten minutes and lets me ask questions and not out the door before while finishing his sentence. This is one of the reasons I changed from him before. He spends no time at all with the patient. His office staff are just OK. Nothing good, nothing bad.

Doesn't listen. Rude. Condescending. and WAS WRONG
Refused to listen or look at tests I paid to have done on my own that showed I had an adrenal tumor. Found other doctors to help and had adrenal gland removed with not one but 3 tumors that were poisoning me with aldosterone. This "doctor" doesn't listen and only treats diabetes not endocrine problems. DO NOT GO TO HIM.

I had a torrible experience with Steven cowart and Bobby Johnson I suffer from Hashimoto and it lead me to having PCOS/ PCOD , I suffer from both now my experience with these 2 doctors they refused to treat me for my condition while many others are treated for the same condition that are other doctors and nurses they have at most times explained the same details I have already researched for over 6 years the confused look they gave me continuously, when refusing to treat someone and told I will remove the thyroid glands when it shuts down isn't what you should wait for because if at any time the thyroid glands shuts down , the heart shuts down and other organs shut down , so to tell someone that makes you a murderer , I hope this helps open people's eyes so they see doctors that care for there patience

Dr. Johnson is someone I trust to address my health concerns and needs; he listens carefully and responds appropriately. Most of his team is great. I left a message for his nurse and she called back and answered my questions in a way easy to understand. Alison was patient and had no problem assisting me without speaking in an unpleasant or combative tone. On the day of my visit, Shanna took my vital signs; she displayed a positive attitude, good patient interaction, and professionalism. In short, she made me feel comfortable.

saw him years ago. I would not recommend for many reasons. I find that many people are now going out of town to see endocrinologist. I recommend going out of town.
