Dr. Bob Allen Ly, DO

Dr. Ly is wonderful. He did not make me feel rushed and explained everything to me that we were going to deal with the day I went in for my 1st visit. The only downfall is he is booked up on his appointments. Thank goodness I don’t need to be back so soon. To me this just show what a wonderful Doctor he is. He make sure to answer any and all of my questions, also made sure I knew if I had any problems to phone the office and let them know how he can help with what ever may surface.( I’ve been very blessed to not have a emergency~so I could not give an honest answer on the wait for a emergery.

Explains everything well and gives all the time needed. Friendly and takes time to answer all of my questions.

My experience with Dr.Ly is always good. Very patient and informative and always answers messages on patient portal in the same day written. Knowledgeable and able to inform so understand things about my condition. Love his diabetes team as well. He is definitely a keeper.

First time I've seen Dr. Ly. He is very patient, presentable, was not rushing like some doctors, explained in details (in layman's terms, thank you!) so I could understand it, which I appreciated. Still ways to go in correcting my low calcium blood levels but I'm confident Dr. Ly will correct this problem.

Visit resulted in Dr. Ly sending in labs for checking testosterone, sex hormone, PSA and CBC. Drove hour and a half into Henderson NV (live in Laughlin NV) test for PSA was coded wrong and no testosterone or sex binding hormone. Called office was told someone would call me back three days later no call back. Drove 2 hours into Las Vegas (Southern Hills Hospital) spoke with Office mgr. told her the problem. She said she would fix it, I asked her to have someone call me and let me know when fixed. Several days latter lady calls tells me she spoke with quest lab regarding the PSA code and is going to mail the PSA lab requisition to me. I said no fax it to Quest Lab. I was going to go to Quest labs in Henderson on a Wednesday and called the Dr.'s office to verify all labs were correct on the prior Monday. Office says yes, drive into quest labs and they tell me they can't do the PSA still coded wrong. Seems Dr. can't write complete lab request or code it properly.

Dr. Ly is the best! From my first visit with him my thyroid condition was almost corrected, as thyroid issues go it is touch and go finding the right dosage but I feel my condition is in very capable hands with Dr. Ly. Personable, friendly and knows what he is doing.
