Unempathetic
Had a genetic condition that caused a sudden loss of my vision. Dr cooper gave a speech and talked down to me telling you know exactly what eye condition you have several people have told you. It was super disappointing in a terrifying time. Dr Fox is amazing as well as Dr Dyer. I have never felt so scared and uncared for as I did by Dr Cooper.

Very Poor Experience
Dr Cooper is terribly condescending and lacks any semblance of empathy toward patients who are there due to serious and frightening vision issues. He makes clear his irritation if you attempt to raise any questions or concerns. His negative attitude has created a culture of rudeness and disrespect throughout his staff.

Bad experience
He was condescending to me, did not listen to what the problem was that was being experienced, did not try to solve the specific vision issue, just gave a rote speech. Very poor bedside manner, expressed no empathy or concern, just said everything I was experiencing with my vision was just to be expected. Did do a competent review of my retina, which turned out to not be the source of my problem. Made comments about my vision and disease that were incorrect. Just made me feel bad without helping my situation. Another doctor the same day spent time to review my situation, understood how scary the vision problem was for me, etc and found the diagnosis and solution to my vision problem. Very disappointed with the care I received.

Would not send my dog to this guy I had a very serious eye issue was referred by my eye dr to him and needed surgery to correct the problem. Dr Cooper would not agree to use a antibiotic that I was NOT allergic to as a preventative measure before and after surgery. Needless to say I went elsewhere. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me. Took 3 days to get antibiotic answer

Dr. Cooper is knowledgable and caring. He correctly diagnosed and treated my eye problem after it had been incorrectly diagnosed by another doctor. I am very glad that I went to him.
