Provider doesn’t take the time to be familiar with your case or prescribe medications responsibly. Instead of offering up advice or techniques on how to manage mental illness, she just prescribes more and more meds to supposedly alleviate the side effects. Doesn’t seem to show genuine concern for her patient’s well being.

Definitely do NOT recommend this doctor. In fact, I'm disgusted with her. I saw her from the time I was 14 years old until 18 years old and she made my life considerably harder. She was constantly rude, told me inconsiderate things like "take advantage of your parents money" and "oh was it dress up day at school today?" when I was just wearing what I normally would wear to school. As a kid who is struggling mentally, that is NOT appropriate behavior. She would also acknowledge me in public places and talk to me, though that's a clear violation of HIPPA. She also put me on a very high dose of a highly addictive medication called Vyvanse, and even after telling her that I believed I was addicted to it and experiencing side effects, she kept pushing it on me and my parents, telling us that I "needed" it. She does not care about you or your loved ones, only about herself and her precious money. Save yourself and go ANYWHERE but to her.

There aren't many choices for adolescent psychiatric care in Missoula, but if you can, avoid this physician. I agree with the previous review that she doesn't appropriately or effectively use her license. She has been involved on and off with my teenage daughter's care for almost 6 months and has not once attempted a discussion directly with me, and makes decisions that impact my family without my input.

She was especially patient with my case, kind, and resourceful. Probably one of the best psychiatrists I've seen. I would recommend her to anybody.

Strongly recommend finding a different provider for your mental health needs. She will not give you the time or care that you deserve. I don’t believe she appropriately or effectively uses her license. I know this is discouraging because these types of providers are hard to find, but I think your time and energy would be well spent finding someone other than Dr. Davison to assist you in caring for your mental health. If all you need is someone that will write you scripts that piggyback on previous providers diagnoses, then she may be your gal, but I wouldn’t expect any more from her. If that’s all you need, I’d still recommend you consider her as your last option- you don’t need a psychiatric MD for existing prescriptions, so you have more options for providers in that sense. It is unfortunate that she is the UM psychiatrist because she may be the first experience many young people have with this kind of provider and she does not give the profession a good name.

Did not consider any of my requests or concerns about my medications. Treated me like a maniac that had no idea what I was talking about. I was fresh out of the psych ward, trying to get properly medicated and back on my feet. She didn't listen to anything I said, and had obviously not looked at any of my information prior to seeing me. Her secretary/books person scheduled me for an appointment over the phone but never actually wrote it down, so Blair refused to see me for another month.
