I was extremely fortunate to stumble across Dr Irion while on a short vacation. My knee had flared up and my expectations for getting good treatment away from home were low. Dr Irion was a real blessing. He is FANTASTIC - an absolute expert in his craft, HIGHLY educated, who also cares about his patients and doesn't rush. He took the time to talk about long-term solutions for my knee, not just the procedure he was performing that day. Dr Bjorn Irions saved my vacation and I walked out of the office feeling so grateful that he serves the community of Grand Junction.

I have seen him for a back problem a couple of years ago and now a hip problem. Both times he was very nice and kind. He ordered the appropriate tests. For my back, he ordered a helpful medication. He made referrals as needed for further treatment. He provided follow up appointments and made sure that my situation was improved. He involved me in decisions and listened to me. I trust him. I trust his judgement. (Sometimes as an older lady, doctors don't take my problems very seriously, but he listened, took me seriously, included me in decisions.) Could not have been better.

A waste of time. I was seen by Dr Irion for shoulder pain. Prior to visiting with him, I was taken to X-ray for pictures. When he came Into exam room, he seemed rushed. I explained to him that I had intense shoulder pain and due to recent experience with this shoulder I felt I needed a corticosteroid injection. Was told there was nothing wrong with my shoulder and was dismissed. No other treatment was offered. I will never return to him.
