Dr. Biren Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is willing to give detailed information about one's condition in a way that is understood. I felt comfortable with him from the beginning. He is gentle, kind and relieves one's anxiety about a procedure. I trust him.

Dr. Patel's office requested a follow up visit for my mother. My first experience with this doctor and he literally acted like why were we there as if we were bothering him. Since we were there I asked if he could do a urine on my mother as she appeared to have a horrible urinary infection. His response was she is old and there is part of the 'deterioration' process. He never examined her or even spoke to her. I again argued this was not her norm. He flat our refused the test or treatment. We ended up calling the home health nurse the next morning. She took one look at her and instructed to go to the ER immediately. She ended up being held over night it was so bad. This doctor is suppose to specialize in this and was apparent to every one but him.

Dr Patel is very personable, professional and friendly.

NO STARS. It was my first visit. First impressions n last. I was kicked out of his ofc becuz his physicians assistant rude manner n rapid shooting questions didn't permit her pause to prove she was human. Nicole was indifferent n rude she wasn't focused it's called rudeness when I mentioned my grandmother had just died n made no comment just moved on. All she said was"that is not relevant to this appt"?! So cold blooded. No condolences no I'm sorry to hear now let's move on. Instead of choosing to help me Nicole left room went to talk to Dr Patel n came back to tell me I wud not be seen today. At first I thot they just meant today but then she said Dr wud not be establishing me as a patient n that was upsetting so I asked why not ? And then Dr barged in n said to get out of his ofc and don't come back!? Beligerant n unreasonable in front of his staff Patel caused a scene. Both seemed happy to cause me more grief. So i left. He did me a favor. Glad I know who they really are.

Don't expect the office staff to get back to you at all. I am a nurse trying to help a patient get his prescriptions in order and have reached out via phone and via fax to this office multiple times. When I finally received a call back from the PA Nicole Villa. She was extremely rude and conflicting information was given. Would not recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good communication line open with their doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Biren Patel for many years. He has performed several procedures/surgeries with the utmost care, professionalism, meaningful follow-up and he is very thorough in his explanations, offers alternatives (if avaiable), answers any and all questions in an understandable fashion. Additionally, he has a good sense of humor! I have the utmost respect for and confidence in Dr. Patel. He exemplifies professionalism and truly cares about his patients!

I've had 3 surgical procedures preformed by Dr Patel. He's always professional and an exceptional surgeon.

I've had UTIs for 60 years, hundreds of them. Every urologist I had only treated the symptoms. Dr. Patel treated the cause, and for the first time in my life I don't have UTIs. He maybe saved my life, but he certainly saved my sanity.

Dr Patel did a good job but obtaining medicine refill could take up to two weeks and then was even turned down last time on a medicine I was supposed to take twice a day for life. Very frustrating and nerve-wracking as I didn't want to get kidney stones again.

I've been seeing Dr. Patel for several years and find him to be personable, professional and even has a sense of humor (often missing from many doctors). His knowledgeable, friendly staff are always considerate and efficient. His PA and trainees are thorough, knowledgeable and eager to help. I always come away from appointments confident that I am being well cared for. Thanks to Dr. Patel.

Have been going to Dr Patel for 14-15 years now. It all started with an extremely complicated issue involving an even more complicated infection. It took a year to resolve the issue, but Dr Patel was with me every step of the way. He is extremely focused, persistent, knowledgeable, efficient , straight forward and caring. He is one of the very few Doctors I trust completely. Highly recommend him.

My previous comment was referring to Dr BIREN Patel with office in CASA GRANDE, AZ. IF there is another doctor in Arizona with identical name....no pun is intended. My comment is only directed to Casa Grande Arizona

Needed a hysterectomy and bladder sling at age 70. Very pleased with both surgeons who performed my surgery (Dr Brar and Dr Patel). Both spent as much time as I needed for explanations, etc. I feel that it went smoothly all around.

Dr. Patel is good at what he does, but his bedside manner fails miserably. Over 2 yr period waited excessively; stood up by Dr. P and someone else saw me; doesn't return phone calls; cancelled surgery close to time of surgery - when asked why his answer was that he cancelled it and I didn't need to know anything further. When pressed as I was angry Dr. P told me to find another Dr. and refused to make a referral. He can be as arrogant as he feels, but does not tolerate irritation from patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patels for the past two years, I find him to be a caring professional and one who cares about his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Patel. Casa Grande should be proud to have his as a Doctor in our city.

Very professional and knows more than my other urologists over the past several years. He knows so much, he's fast .. could slow down a bit. I've been through this surgery before, and maybe that's why he did not go into great detail. Very good urologist!

Dr.Patel is great but what makes the experience bad was the staff up front checking you in lady with curly hair and glasses was really rude and made dirty faces when I couldn't hear her..no good..also I assume same lady by her voice was really rude while making appointment and really bad phone manners..

Dr. Patel is a Great Doctor, Kind, explains everything and is a Great Surgeon!
