Explains well with a caring heart!
Dr Trinh explained the surgery and what was to happen very clearly. I felt good about my medical team going into surgery. Dr Trinh took the time to answer all my questions even with a bit of humor. He and his team are very responsive and caring. Having lung surgery is scary but having Dr Trinh as my surgeon helped calm my nerves.

Highly Recommend
As soon as I met Dr. Trinh, I wanted my surgery done as quickly as possible. He made every effort to have my lobectomy completed by the next day. Even with such little notice, he made sure I was informed of all essential procedure details. Everything went smoothly without any issues and I was discharged the next day.

Thank you Dr Trinh !
Dr Trinh is an excellent and extremely skilled and knowledgeable doctor. He gives maximum time to explain diagnosis and to listen to patient concerns. He has treated me as an individual and is a really nice person to interact with, both caring and upbeat! He performed robotic surgery on me and I couldn't be happier with my care. His entire team of nurses and doctors is skilled and attentive. I strongly recommend Dr Trinh as a doctor, surgeon, and person

Surgical proficiency
Initial visit was about educating us on lung transplant surgery. In the hospital he reviewed my surgery and took care of complications arising during the healing of sternum cage. He replaced it by metal plates. It is healing well now.

Dr. Trinh has been with us 100% of the way through my surgical experience. I am very happy with the care he and his team have given me. I can’t recommend him highly enough! There was never a moment I didn’t trust his abilities or expertise in my case and I am very grateful with the results of my surgery. UCSF and Dr. Trinh are the best and anyone needing Thoracic surgery would be wise to consult with him.
