Dr. Bindubal Balan, MD

My boyfriend went to the doctor for low testosterone and had multiple lab tests done. We then went to Dr. Balan to get some answers, and she ordered more labs to be done first thing in the morning. We waited more than a week for the results and had to call to follow up on them. Once the results were in, she said nothing was abnormal, even though his testosterone levels were not at their optimal range. It felt like she was just writing it off as nothing. Very disappointing experience.

Dr Balan is so personable, encourages 2 way conversations as well as knowledgable, understanding and results oriented for her patients and their needs! Best endocrinologist ever!

I have now seen Dr Balan twice for a diabetic condition which was “out of control “ with high levels of glucose. She is very competent and helpful. My levels are already improved . She is pro active and knows what to do to help me. I’m very happy that I find this physician.

Dr. Balan always listens to my concerns and treats them properly. I have been a patient for years and have never questioned her ability, knowledge, and expertise. I recommend her to anyone needing an endocrinologist.

My Endocrinologist DR.Balan she should be in the medical journal to me. She just as good as my DR. , in Bergen County New Jersey Dr. Balan give me all of her tension trying to help keep me alive. I feel as safe like like my doctors back up north. I was told by all my doctors you born with a rear disease Addison you can’t go to small medical facilities it has to be a trauma hospital. I feel safe with Dr. Balan, she takes a lot of blood work to see what’s going on in my body to help me live long as Jesus wants me to she’s a five star.

I’ve been seeing Dr Balan since 2017 and can’t recommend her enough. I feel safe in her hands.

I am a patient of Dr. Balan.Seen her in 2007. My thyroid was shutting down and I had a goiter and nodules. As she recommended surgical removal. I did have surgery and within 3 months I was feeling a lot better. However, due to circumstances I had to move away. I called today to try to get a appointment so that Dr. Balan check my levels. I’m without my meds and feel awful. They would not see me without a referral yet I’m in system because someone didn’t have the curiosity to return my call. I need to see her really bad. She is the only one that has ever truly helped me! Please!!!! Even if I have to do a tele visit first. I need to talk to her or see her!

Dr. Balan is professional in her interactions with patients and genuinely cares. She is extremely knowledgeable about Diabetes and Thyroid diseases and remains dedicated to staying abreast of new treatment and equipment.

I saw Dr. Balan in the past for a couple of years until she had my health back to normal. I liked her very much then. I have returned now due to a thyroid issue. She is pleasant and interested in my issues and discussed my health in a professional way. I know I will be well cared for even if my tests do not come back with the best news. Despite how busy she is, she made me feel she had all the time in the world to take care of me.

Dr Balan is a highly skilled physician and very compassionate. She listens carefully and answers questions you may have about your concerns.

She listens. I have had several endocrinologist in the past but I have stayed with Dr. Balan because I feel well cared for. I recommend her to my friends and family.

Dr. Balen is kind, empathetic, and super smart. I see her for Diabetes, Hypothyroid, Hyperprolactemia, and a Pituitary Tumor. I have multiple other chronic conditions, stemming from Ehlers-Danilos Syndrome -> Dysautonomia -> etc... She is able to look at everything that is going on with my body and make good decisions that improve my quality of life. I’m excited to see what else she can ‘fix’ for me. Kudos to Dr. Bindibal Balen.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Dr Balan was cold and uncompassionate. I was overcharged due to a mix up with my insurance and it has been over 5 months of me still trying to chase down the refund the office owed me. The billing department was NO help -- never answered the phone or returned my calls. Please go anywhere other than this facility.

Dr Balan is a wonderful, caring doctor! She treated me for throid cancer over 10 years ago and continues to monitor my condition, which is in complete remission. Her gentle demeanor is very reassuring when being treated for a stressful illness. I am so grateful for her care!

Dr. Balan is the most trusted member of my mother's healthcare team. Her knowledge and care are exemplary.
