Dr. Biju Lukose, MD

Dr Lukose is unreliable and abandoned his practice without any notice. I have been trying to contact him to get my medical records and he does not respond. I have gone to two of his Carrolton offices and there is never anyone there. The other offices say that there hasn't been anyone there since January or February!!!

Excellent care when I was there, but he just disappeared in January with no notice

I had a difficult abdominal pain. I was transferred from a hospital in allen to Dr.Lukose. I suffered for almost 2 months and no body could find out my problems. Finally Dr.Lukose was able to help me. He made the correct diagnosis and did surgery on me. After that I have transferred my complete care to the other physicians in the group. It is very easy to get appointment

Dr.Lukose is a great doctor and a surgeon. I had a rectal cancer which was bursted and went to the ER and I was about to die in shock. He had done the surgery. Now I am cancer free and seeing Dr.Lukose. I think all the reviews in healthgrades are done by people who are just jealous or people who do not want to pay for their health care.

Several miscommunications, complete contradictions, untruths and overall bad experience with he and his staff leads me to never go back to this doctor again. Started with ER/admission to hospital, Lucose was on duty. He correctly identified the problem and treatment. However, that's where the positive experience ended. Add to the above problems in communication (including post-procedure instructions) his nearly badgering me to be one of his primary care patients. HUH?? He's a General Surgeon - is it even legal for him to play the part of a PCP?? Even if he is, I told him each time I'm happy with who I have. He also belittled me in the hospital when I couldn't think straight about something (dude, I'm on Morphine!). Anyway, I've told all my neighbors on Nextdoor - do not go to him.

Terrible doctor. He is money hungry! My wife didn’t have a choice of who her surgeon was when she was admitted to the hospital. The day of the surgery( mind you we have never met him) he asked how she was going to pay because she didn’t have insurance at the moment. First thing you sign at your follow up appointment is a Financial agreement. We understand that things are not free and we have to pay for her surgery. When she explained to him that she could not pay $200 a month. ( We also have to pay for the 4 days she was admitted in the hospital, plus another surgery she had to remove gallstones.) He was upset with her and how much she said she could financially afford. Dr Lukose told her he is going to have to raise the price because it was going to take her forever to pay him off. When the clinic replies to this message that this is spam and that we do not have a patient with this name in our system just remember my wife is a patient there and this is how he treats people.

All he cared was about getting paid, rude, uncondescending, demining attitude. Stay away

I attempted to schedule an appointment today and the office staff were very rude and unprofessional- after them hanging up on me twice and me calling a different number provided to me to reach the doctor and to have him hang up on me I said forget it I’ll keep looking for a doctor

Dr. Lukose took very good care of my husband while in the hospital and I feel confident in his ongoing care. He and his office assistant seem very passionate and devoted to their patients. Thank you both.

Great doctor and a gentle human being

Office staff and doctor are by far, the most unprofessional I have ever witnessed. They are extremely rude, condescending, and unfair.
