Bick Carfrae administered an epidural to me (2nd child). The epidural was effective on only one side of my body (read: *not* effective on one side) . In addition she nicked my spinal cord resulting in a leak & a 2 week spinal headache. Was in hospital 5 times for spinal headache - never saw her again and later was told by surgeons in the same hospital - "oh yeah. I would have told you to ask for a different anesthetist. " Pretty sure i had no choice any way but steer clear if you can!

Super experience. Dr. Carfrae talked to me at some length before the procedure, discussing options and my preferences, which she then discussed with the surgeon in my presence prior to the procedure. She was extremely professional and compassionate. I was very pleased with her service; a procedure that once before had been truly painful was completely pain free. I was asleep, and I awoke fully and quickly with all my senses immediately intact. I had no ill effects at all.
