Dr. Bheema Singu, MD

He was very helpful and answered my Questions. Had to put a Peg tube on as I was Choking on foods and aspirating trying to swallow. They went to great lengths to try to get me a Health Nurse but because of my Insurance with United Healthcare they couldn’t get it done. Very good Dr though and listens and gives you answers.

No Help.... My mom has had chronic diarrhea for 2 months and was hospitalized due to dehydration and acute kidney injury related to the diarrhea. He came in said a few words, never completed a physical exam, completed a colonoscopy and never came back to the room. She was discharged from the hospital a couple days later and still never seen him or received her results. The only instructions were from the hospitalists who sent her home with immodium and pepto.

Spent 2.5 years with Dr Singu with no help, no diagnosis. Switched to UFHealth and was diagnosed with Crohns (IBD) and treatment scheduled all within 2 months.

Dr Singu has tremendously helped me throughout the years!Lately he was persistant on me getting another colonoscopy since it had been over 10 yrs since my last one. Got scheduled the following day after an office visit & during my procedure he found a large polyp in my colon that he removed during the procedure. A little longer wait and it would have become cancer!I can't thank him & his staff more for their focus on their superior care for me!!!

I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr Singu.Upon an ER referral, Dr Singu made time for a consultation of my concerns that VERY DAY, then scheduled an Endoscopy for the next day. I don't know any other doctor as accommodative and patient focused as Dr Singu. Luckily my worst fears were dismissed. He is responsive, caring, professional, and skilled for his patients. Thank you Dr Singu!

post hospital visit was totally inadequate. The only time he touched me was to shake my hand. he did not do an assessment and documented a full assessment on my health record. Find another G.I. doctor.

Dr. Singu assisted with a g procedure for a stent placement. He is well informed, professional explains to you what will happen and why. I recommend him

Emergency gall bladder surgery that required a stent that Dr. Singu refused to do! Inexcusable behavior for any doctor!

After almost a year of telling this man that the medication he prescribed for GERD was NOT working, I saw a specialist in Orlando, who had me undergo a series of investigative tests. Turns out I do NOT even have GERD but another condition that is responding quite well to the correct procedures and medications my new doctor prescribed. If Dr. Singu had bothered to do something other than an EGD, the results of which were incorrect, I could have been much healthier far sooner. Don't waste your time with this man.

I hesitated to go to dr singu because there were some questionable reviews, but i am so glad i went because he is a wonderful doctor .he took time to talk and listen to us. the office visit went really well. didnt wait long and the staff was very nice. Thanks alot Dr Singu. Am thankful to have you as our doctor. S.P.

Doctor Singu has been the best GI doctor. Every time I have seen him he has explained issues...not hurried and has always given me the feeling and confidence in him that he is s Very Competent! Wouldn't want anybody else other than him to be my GI Doctor. I have been under his care for 6 years now. Best experience I have ever had as a patient having an EGD and/or Colonoscopy was by him and his staff at Surgery Center of Mid Florida.

Dr. Singu is OK but his staff is horrible. A test was finally ordered - BUT when u called radiology to make the appointment - I was told they could only do a portion of the test because a previous exam showed something that presents an issue for the full radiological exam. I called Dr. Singh’s Office 3 times in the last 7 days & continue to be told that someone will call me back - but no way be does!!! Unacceptable behavior!!!

I went with my mother to see Dr. Singu recently. We were extremely pleased and satisfied with his care and thoroughness in his evaluation and description. His staff was very courteous and extremely helpful. They were very accommodating with the fact that my mother does not speak English as her primary language. I would recommend him highly to anyone without reservation as I think they would received excellent care from him and his staff. I look forward to seeing him again for anything any member of my family may need. We need more Gastroenterologists and doctors like Dr. Singu!

I was very pleased with my first office visit with Dr. Singu's. The office was very busy but worth the wait. Dr. Singu's was very thorough when reviewing my medical records from the hospital. He did not rush the visit and answered my questions. I know that I am in good hands and I would highly recommend Dr. Singu. Thank You J. King

Had to go to his surgical center..Great staff. I had to have an iv..and just coming out of the hospital where they usually had to call for back up, because my veins were so small..Nurse Kelsey got it the first time with no drama... It was a very pleasant experience...All the nurses were caring, and the place was extremely clean and maintained...from the front desk to the finish..I have nothing but good to say. The procedure was done on time..no long wait...refreshing...thank you do much Dr Singu

I left the procedure room due to his rudeness. I was under no impression that I would be taken card of during the procedure.

I was referred to Dr. Singu by my primary physician. I found him to be an extremely competent doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He listened as I explained how I was feeling and his initial diagnosis proved to be correct following my subsequent MRI. Five days after my initial visit to him, he had removed a bile duct blockage and I was feeling better than I had in months. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He has a very professional staff who greet patients with a smile and are willing to help in any way they can. The office facility is very clean and conveniently located. Being fairly new to the Ocala area, I am very happy to add his name to my list of doctors!

Upon arriving, I checked in and went to sit down and there were no seats available. Should have been my first clue. While waiting, the receptionist called me to the window and tried to charge me a co-pay on an appt that was 0 co-pay. After an hour and 15 mins, I approached the receptionist and asked when I would be called and that it was becoming a ridiculous wait time. She couldn't find anyone to give me an answer...told me to ask the nurse when she came out to call a patient. After 10 more minutes, I did just that. Nurse took my name, told me she would check and get right back to me. 15 minutes later, nothing. I was DONE by then. So mad that they had overbooked to this degree. I was waiting almost 2 hours!! I went up to the window and told them I would be leaving, and they had better not charge anything to my insurance. Unless you enjoy wasting hours of your time, stay away from this office. Staff was totally incompetent and didn't seem to care.

Colonoscopy performed in 45 minutes and an hour and a fifteen minutes past my scheduled appointment time. My wife had to extra time off work due to the tardiness. He did not do a meet and greet before the procedure. The only time I saw him was when I was being discharged when he rambled off a few findings and said he'll see me at the follow up. I'll be looking for a new GI Dr.

If you want to be treated with nice fake stories do not go to Dr. Singue. He does not tell patients nice stories if they are not true.
