Dr. Bhawna Gupta, MD

I have been going to Dr. Gupta’s office, as my primary care doctor, for several years. But something terrible happened lately that I cannot believe I have to report. I have been taking depression medicine for many years, for what is mild to moderate depression. I have been under a lot of pressure for the past six months and beyond, due to a difficult elderly mother; a mentally ill and medically sick brother; and falling very hardly last January with a large fracture on my knee and tibia, needing emergency surgery, rehab, PT and very slow progress (in fact I am still needing a walker after six months). 2-3 week ago, I called my pharmacy to get a refill of my depression meds, which must have expired. They did contact the doctor’s office. In the meantime, I also had my annual physical scheduled with Dr. Gupta, and I again went over my meds with Dr. Gupta and her medical assistant and told them that they needed to be renewed, for an entire years’ worth at the pharmacy, which again, they bo

Dr. Gupta is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Dr. Gupta is a caring, intelligent and compassionate physician. She went above and beyond for me when I had an eye infection. She answered my call at 6 in the morning on a Saturday, called to check on me on a Sunday and when I needed to go to the ER because I was not responding to oral antibiotics, she called them to make sure they knew I was coming and why. Dr. Gupta then continued to check on me for days following. She is absolutely wonderful and anyone who has her as a doctor is lucky.

This doctor is need le in the hay stack. Very carin and thorough. Never feel rushed out. Always follow up on tel when needed.

She was very thorough in her physical examination and interpreting blood work. She explained her findings to me both during my visit and again during a phone consultation following additional blood work. Her office was well staffed and organized. She devoted her strict attention to me the whole time I was there and I really felt like she was truly concerned about my well being. She was very thorough in inquiring about my other doctors such as the skin doctor and Endocrine doctor I have seen.

Dr. Gupta is wonderful doctor. She has a very warm personality. She is very thorough. So glad I started seeing her as my PCP. Highly recommend.
