Dr. Bharati Narasimhan, MD

Dr. Narasimhan struggled to even write a medical note. She called me yelling at me, telling me that other doctors wouldn't even call me to explain why she was having system issues. She then hung up on me. The entire call was under 2 minutes. Terrible Doctor. Can't imagine why she is practicing

I am shocked to see the bad reviews for this doctor. She was beyond nice on the phone and very understanding of my symptoms. She quickly prescribed me some medication and I was on my way!

This woman is verbally abusive and should not even be in the medical field. I contacted her regarding shingles and she not only would not help me, but she hung up on me. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely terrible. I asked one question that apparently made her feel like I was questioning her reasoning and she refused my telegraphy visit and HUNG UP ON ME!!! Do not EVER go see this woman. How in the WORLD is she a doctor?!?! Rudest doctor I’ve ever experienced.

I experienced what so many others are saying as well. This doctor was incredibly rude + short with me on our Teledoc appointment. Within 30 seconds, she had decided that I had allergies and a regular cold even though I described to her my strep/sinus infection like symptoms and the pain I had from my swollen lymph nodes. She criticized me for taking Ibuprofen for the pain which was odd… She then went on a whole diatribe about how everyone prescribed antibiotics for everything these days. When I told her, look, this is not just a cold—I don’t need you to prescribe me allergy medicine, she went OFF THE RAILS about how she was a “board certified physician” and then she HUNG UP ON ME. I have no idea how this person has a license. Her bedside manner is horrific. And guess what? I just went to an in-person clinic: I have strep throat. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

Like many other reviews, I experienced difficulties trying to communicate with Dr. Narasimhan. The doctor interrupted me quite often, didn't want to hear about the backstory to my situation, and the overall visit felt very rushed. I also got lectured by Dr. Narasimhan for making the visit "not fair" as she called it because the office directed me to schedule a telavisit rather than an in person. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I had a telehealth visit with her on 4/2/2021. I was having a severe sore throat, fever, high pulse, headache, swollen lymph nodes, sweating, chills, and lightheadedness. She insisted what I had was allergies though I knew it was not. She told me the reason I believed I had strep was because I am a PA student and "PAs prescribe antibiotics for everything." Not only did she dismiss my symptoms, but she also dismissed and criticized my career. I went along with what she had to say because I'm not one to fight back (and I'm not a "know-it-all PA student" or anything like that), though I knew for a fact she was wrong. The next day, feeling significantly worse despite taking the allergy medications she prescribed, I went to an urgent care and was diagnosed with strep. Had I listened to her, I could have faced severe complications from untreated strep. I am now one day into my antibiotics and can swallow again, thanks to an NP who actually listened to my concerns instead of being dismissive

My experience with Dr. Bharati Narasimhan has been a very good experience. She is very knowledgeable in the field of medicine and she stays abreast of new studies in the medical field. Dr. Bharati Narasimhan helped me many times. I highly recommend Dr. Narasimhan.
