There is a constant amount of rescheduling and long wait times on the phone or in the office. I began going to the office in 2020 and it is more common to call before rescheduling due to the doctor not being available than it is to see during original scheduled dates. When you are required to reschedule, it is typically 1-2 months out from the original date. Dr. Upadhyay overall is ok but will get you in and out as quickly as possible. Due to the rescheduling issues, I have been required to use the same CPAP mask and equipment for longer than instructed

They DO NOT honor online scheduling after two tries and two confirmations.

Great people, appt. was smooth and quick. I received my CPAP prescription but three weeks plus later. Still waiting for the office to complete the needed paperwork I'm tired and tired of my dog having too beat my face nightly to keep me breathing. What do I have to do to get this DME request completed before I die of CHF! kwr

After booking the appointment online I received a call indicating that the Doctor doesn’t have hours at that time anymore (5 PM). I was able to schedule the next available which is (3) months from now. I spoke to the nurse to see if I can at least get my asthma medication renewed so I am waiting patiently to see if my pharmacy calls to pick up the meds. Hopefully it works out.

He is an excellent Dr. He truly cares about you and does a great job

Saw Dr. Upadhyay in Sept. for first time over breathing issues...Immediately he asked me why I didn't tell him I had a heart murmur, I was totally shocked was never told I had one. He immediately ordered an echocardiogram, from there, he sent me to a cariologist. By the end of October, I had an Aortic valve replacement (TAVR} Thank God he was so thorough.. I found him to be amazing.

From a longtime patient who suffers from mild asthma and allergies. Dr.Upadhyay has taken very good care of our elderly mom for well over 25 years. He is by far one of her favorite doctors.

Left with unanswered concerns and confusion even after 6 plus months of “treatments” and follow ups. Appointment canceled last minute so he could go on vacation. Over an hour of wait time anytime you need to call the heart and health institute. I do recommend getting a second opinion if this is your specialist, leaving was the best choice I’ve made. He is kind and a nice person but far too much isn’t acceptable for speciality care.

Dr Upadhyay was the ideal choice for my husband.Having recently moving from NY it was very difficult to choose a Dr. whom we could trust.Dr Updhyay has warm and caring bedside manner which seems to be alost art in todays medical care.Addressed every issue we presented.Would highly rec to anyone

Dr Upadihay is one of the nicest and best doctors both my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of getting treatment from. He is always prepared to listen to you and ALWAYS takes the best action for his patients. Neither my husband Cliff nor I would hesitate to refer Dr Barat Upahdihay to anybody. We will miss him terribly. Probably spelled his name wrong but I am sure you know to whom I am referring.

I felt relaxed, initially he was the first doctor who chose to explain my condition to me in a way the average person could understand. It was satisfying and reassuring that the doctor took extra consideration for the care of his patients. This made a lasting impression on me.
