Did not examine me. Did not address all my symptoms. Seams to have made up his mind before he entered room. Very difficult to get helpful information. Condesending.

It was quick I didn't have to wait long before the nurse took me back for my ultrasound and it was quick and painless

Didn't give patient the time of day. Doesn't ever actually treat conditions and only pushes procedures like an endoscopy without actually listening to the patients concerns. Actively ignored the patient during the visit and when patient wasn't ignored patient was talked down to.

The staff is great and he is very knowledgeable and helpful

Dr Patel is polite but direct. He is always willing to answer questions. I appreciate these characteristics from my doctors

No parking was available. When I checked in and gave vidials, I was told that everything was running on schedule and would be taken back shortly. An hour later, I asked how much more time and they said when a bed frees up. I receive my procedure an hour and a half after I was scheduled. I was very disappointed that no one notified me why I was waiting.

Very personal and quiet. Very helpful. Answered any questions .

Dr Patel was kind and knowledgeable with my care. He listened to my concerns and addressed them.

I had an EGD 4 days ago. My EGD was scheduled for 0730am, and I found out Patel doesn't arrive until about 8am on most days. His team was waiting on him and was frustrated. The anesthetist said I would be wheeled into the OR at 0805am, but I hadn't even seen Dr. Patel yet. Come to find out, he was in the bathroom for several minutes. Then, his OR tech came and told me he'd be ready any minute, and I asked if he was still in the bathroom. He said, No, he's making tea. Dr. Patel finally came to see me probably around 0815 or 0820, but did not discuss the procedure with me and what to expect if he potentially found something else other than a stricture. Well, he did find something else and had to take a few biopsies throughout my esophagus. Dr. Patel never visited me post-op. Plus, I am having chest pain which his MA has written off as normal - I probably have more medical education than she does. Do NOT see Dr. Patel for your GI issues! He has never even given me a proper physical exam.

I wish I could choose more than 5 stars. Dr Patel has been doing my colonoscopies and managing my Gastro health for many years. He is direct and knowledgeable. He is kind and listens. I feel safe and assured that he is looking out for me and my overall health. My colonoscopies started out early because of family history and some of the early ones were nightmares. I transferred to Dr Patel and while a colonoscopy is not my favorite thing, Dr Patel has completely made these as easy as they could be and I am always assured of his complete competence as my gastroenterologist. Thank you Dr Patel!

Disappointed that though I followed diet and Go Lytely prep exactly my GI tract was deemed poorly prepped and must be repeated in one year.

It was a Colonoscopy, so I had just met the Dr. That morning. He and his team did a great job, and I was in and out in the required time. Hopefully the biopsies will be just as positive as the procedure

First Anesthesia

I have had him as my gastroenterologist for over seven years and he has done a great job of diagnosing and treating me.

Very professional team that kept me informed of everything they were doing the while visit. The procedure was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend them for any similar procedures.
