Great doctor!
Great listener, willing to learn and consider different options, not afraid of complexity, good at explaining options and conditions.Does seem overbooked. It's hard to get an appointment (even a sick visit is often weeks out), and she seems exhausted. But I think that's more a matter of medicine in this area (and lack of doctors). She is an intelligent and savvy provider who clearly cares about the health of her patients. The staff and nursing staff are friendly and knowledgable.

Dr Merrell is the BEST!
Dr Merrell has been my Mom's doctor since she (Dr Merrell) came to town. I can't say enough about her support and care through some difficult situations. She has ALWAYS made the best decisions for great outcomes and my Mom is thriving at age 95! Thank you, Dr Merrell.

The best
Betsy Merrell has been my doctor for several years….she is so caring, so competent, and her staff is wonderful. I’m thankful that as a senior adult, she will hopefully be my doctor for the rest of my life. I’ve never been disappointed with her care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Merrell's for 10 years, as have my two daughters (now in their 20s). We are all very pleased with the time she takes to understand our concerns and explain anything we have questions about. We also like her approach to health care, and feel that she does a great job of determining whether additional labs or testing need to be done, without over doing it. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient of Dr. Merrell's for over 10 years and have converted both my mother and my husband to her practice. She doesn't recommend unnecessary testing, takes time to answer questions and listens to concerns.
