The day I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I called based on a recommendation to Dr. Freedman’s office and she cleared her schedule to see me the next morning. She was thorough, caring and reassuring. From surgery to follow-up I felt thankful to be a patient of hers. Definitely would recommended her to others.

My experience with Dr. Freedman was very poor. I have had past breast cancer requiring lumpectomies which were done in NYC. For the past few years I have been seeing Dr. Freedman for a post mammogram and ultrasound....which were normal as read by radiologist. During my exam I pointed out an area of my breast which seemed different. Dr. Freedman advised watching it and to see her in 6 months. Given my history I asked for a biopsy rather than wait. Dr. Freedman felt it was not necessary. I went to surgeon at NY Weill Cornell, biopsies were done, breast cancer confirmed and lumpectomy performed.

Felt like a number pushed through the cancer system. Had to have extra reconstruction surgery on one breast due to sloopy work. If you're struck with breast cancer take a deep breath and go slow. Interview your doctors.
