Dr. Berton Taffet, MD

My Father has recently had surgery with Dr. Taffet. Since the first visit, Dr. Taffet showed a lot of empathy and care for my father's condition. He was very quick to modify his schedule and have my father's surgery scheduled almost right away. Before, during and after surgery Dr. Taffet has been very responsive and accessible. He called me right after surgery and througly went over details. He also was open to answer any question I had. His staff has been impeccable. They took care of scheduling physical therapy so my father had everything he needed before leaving the hospital.

Dr. Taffet is a gem! As others have said, he’s incredibly thorough , professional and caring. And he has a wonderful sense of humor, that no one has mentioned yet! His receptionist, Linda is the best as are his nurses. Do not hesitate to seek him out if you have the need.

Dr. Taffet is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him. Very thorough, excellent bedside manner, extremely responsive. Phenomenal doctor. He really cares for his patients and wants the best outcome.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could. Dr Taffet was covering for my regular doctor on a weekend. I had a medical emergency, a severe reaction to an injection and I called 3 times over the course of 5 hours. Not so much as a call back. Gave both cell and house phone numbers, never bothered to call me back. I would never recommend a doctor that does this to anyone.

This Dr and his office are very professional, I had to wait for some time to see him, but he is the best, and worth the wait. People are so fast to leave negative feedback, and say stupid things that make no sense. I had a great experience and had to trust this man and his staff with my abilities to walk again. They did a great job, I'm walking and no complaints. Thanks ..

Sat 2 hours in waiting room to see him. Was told needed another X-Ray which would take 10 minutes and would see me right away but in reality was another hour. His demeanor and rudeness afterwards was not what I expected of a doctor with over 30 years of experience. The only good thing about this visit was his nurse.

He's a wonderful doctor, amazing surgeon. The only down side , desk reception and some staff not all , are very rude and not patient . Do not understand how you work with patients and you have none . That's a joke

I felt he could not get me out of his office fast enough! He didn't even close the exam door all the way, so any one walking by could look in, see, hear what was going on . I had to wait almost a month just to get in to see him and I just felt he did not spend enough time or listen to me concerning the pain I was in.
