Did Not Seem To Care and Never Returned Calls
My Dr retired. Found this Dr. I knew the first visit he wasn’t a caring person. Had ALL my records from my last Dr. Never paid attention to my yearly test I was supposed to get. Never gave me my Welness Check ups I was supposed to get. Always stood at his podium like a preacher. In 1 yr only did blood work twice. Never got calls on results. Never returned calls or messages. Even his nurses never returned calls. I knew after second visit he didn’t want me as a patient. My last visit with him was by video due to weather. 2 days later I was in hospital for 5 days. Due to falls and extreme weight loss. Down to 98lbs. I called his office to let him know and asked him to call me or his nurses. NEVER heard from him again since video call. And Would Not refill my meds. He dropped me without a call or reason. Thank the Good Lord for hospital finding me a new Dr for when I got out of hospital. I highly recommend Not seeing this Dr. I’m not used to being so Disrespected! Thank You Jesus!

No follow-up on lab results and referrals
I'm not sure that they even review your vitals and lab work. I've used the practice for my annual exams for about two years; each time I've needed to call their offices weeks after my appointment to discuss abnormal lab work that I receive directly from LabCorp or to request outstanding paperwork regarding referrals. There is no follow-up once you walk out of the door and generally any discussions about referrals and follow-ups are not processed at checkout. I've had to call-in weeks later to ask for documentation so that I can act on a referral.

Ignored and ended up in ER with kidney infection
I went in multiple times complaining. He took my blood work, and my red blood cells count, white blood cells count was through the roof, liver enzymes were high, and he said he's not concerned about the abnormal labs. I went back again and again had abnormal labs. Once again he said he's not concerned, they are barely raised. Fast forward 4 weeks and I get rushed to the hospital after fainting. Turns out I have a deadly kidney infection and I have been in the hospital for 5 days now with damaged kidneys. If he had just looked at my labs and took me seriously I would not have almost died of pylonphritis.

Dismissed and ignored. Wouldn't recommend this practice they don't take mental health seriously and there could be dire consequences because of this.

Excellent Physician
I choose this practice after my longtime PCP retired and have been seeing Dr. Holmes while waiting for one of his associates to have an opening. Dr. Holmes is very thorough, listens exceptionally well, explains my conditions in lay terms and is always friendly and attentive. He shows all aspects of having chosen his field for altruistic reasons and clearly is concerned for his patients well being. It is admittedly sometimes difficult to get an appointment but understood as the members of this practice are highly regarded. That is not a deal breaker for me because I appreciate that our physicians are people with the same limitations we all have. I don't feel it is ever appropriate to be negative just because we can't get the exact date and time we want an some times waiting seem excessive. But let's give practices with this caliber of staff the accolades they deserve.
