One year ago, Dr. Bernardo 'Joe' Ordonez put our train back on its tracks.My partner, Jackie, had developed serious mobility and dexterity issues. Earlier spinal surgery was suspected - five vertebrae had been fused twenty-five years ago.Dr. 'Joe' assessed the problem and explained his plan to address another wayward vertebra. It wasn't what he said, but how he said it, that we'll never forget. 'Joe' was the way Dr. Ordonez introduced himself at our first meeting. And that says it all. Joe is an amazing surgeon with a great personality and he has surrounded himself with a fantastic team, especially Brooke and Maria!

I was supposed to see Dr. Ordonez, but instead I saw one of the Nurse Practitioner's. I was not given a reason why the dr was not available.

Since I been getting care with this provider everyone has been very patient & nice with all my needs ,very caring about my pain through out my visits.I 'am very thankful to have found this provider for my treatments.

There was an exceptionally long waiting time to see the provider. The provider was also the neurosurgeon on call for the ED. The provider shoukd not be on call during scheduled office visits.

I was a patient of Dr John Shutack for many years the new doctor is a lot different with his views and the problems I have with my back don't fully agree with him about what I should do.

The visit was a great experience. There was a slight delay from the appointment time but the doctor was doing hospital rounds. Dr Ordonez spends all the time necessary to discuss the problems and make sure the prescriptions were correct. His whole team is outstanding.

Dr. Ordonez is the best and saved my life 10 years ago and his helper Brooke is wonderful. I live at the Blue Ridge Parkway and must drive 6 hours to my appointments but would continue even if it were twice the distance. I would do anything for Dr. Ordonez & Brooke.

Providers and staff are great but appointment Is an hour later or more than it's scheduled for, on more than one occasion.

Always a good experience. As far a the survey goes some questions weren't applicable because this physician is a specialist not a primary care physician.

Dr Ordonez is exceptional at what he does. Melissa Mather is an OUTSTANDING NP and Brooke IS the BEST. The entire team Is a tremendous asset to CRH.

Dr Ordonez was very attentive and he explained everything in detail about my condition.

What an amazing surgeon. He truly saved my husband‘s life. Not only is he the most amazing surgeon I have ever seen, He is also a super compassionate human being. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do and follows up after the procedure is done with such care and compassion. We had never encountered a doctor of this caliberbefore.
