Nice guy but too stressful
Has been over a hour wait time for a 8 minute Dr. visit. I’ll be going somewhere else. Even get more staff or have less appointments I’m not wasting anymore time sitting around watching HGTV in a waiting room. Stressed not exactly helping my blood pressure.

Love the Doctor. The staff in Morristown not so much. Called several times and left messages to the Office Manager and no response. Sent me to collections and I have proof that payment was made. No one will call me back, the worst Office Manager.

Wonderful. Not only is Dr. Schalet a good physician, but a very caring individual. You may have to wait awhile in the office to see him, but when he is with you he gives 100% of his attention to you! Evelyn at the front desk is always helpful,as are the nurses. Highly recommend Dr. Schalet and the practice!@

I have been to Dr Schalet 1x before, and didn't have any issues, but my 2nd appt was horrible, not due to the doctor, but the staff was terrible. 45 minutes after my appt time I was still waiting to be seen, I went back to the desk to ask how much longer was my wait. Only then did they tell me he had an emergency earlier, he was running 2 hrs behind, and it would be at least another hour wait. I understand medical emergencies, but why didn't the staff tell me when I signed in for my appt, and give me an option to reschedule? Or, call me? It takes 4-8 weeks to get an appt!

I have worked for many doctors of all specialties in Morristown for close to 20yrs, now in my late 50's I needed a cardiologist, and chose Dr Bennett Schalet. He didn't know me. He was excellent in diagnosing my problems and advised me of a treatment plan, he treated me like I was family while maintaining utmost professionalism.
