Pain post car accident
I was so happy Dr Visger was suggested to me. I’ll be honest I was skeptical at first after my car accident when I was not a surgical candidate. From the first meeting to over a year and a half later to now he listens but also hears me. He understands the issues I’m having with my muscles and the pain caused from different areas of my neck. His first suggestion was not medication. It was treatment. I don’t know where I’d be in my daily living without him.

Actual Healing
Dr Visger is an amazing DO! In my opinion, the best one EVER in West Michigan. See him FIRST! I am so elated and relieved I found someone who actually knows how to treat pain and let the body heal itself instead of just giving patients a bunch of pills that never work. He spends time to explain the possible causes, and provides exercises for you to do to help prevent the issues. I see him for migraines and he is absolutely vital to my health and well-being. I always feel so much better after seeing him. His staff are so friendly and he is great to talk to and work with.

Excellent experience. Dr. Visger listens intently and is able to find out what is causing your pain, do a little manual manipulation and/or release of muscles. Then he completely explains which movements to avoid, and exercises to help clear the rest of the pain. He will also refer to physical therapy if there’s something that he feels his therapy wouldn’t help. This one’s a keeper!

As a chronic pain patient, I've seen every doctor and specialist there is for my pain issues. I've had low back pain for what seems like my whole life, and I've resorted to opioids to dull that pain. Earlier this year, I developed pain in my heels that was diagnosed as bursitis. I bought expensive shoes, splints, and even had injections that couldn't stop the pain. One visit to Dr. Visger and my foot pain was gone! My back pain has been halved, and he's improved pain in my shoulders and neck, to where I no longer notice them. After all the other doctors and procedures, it was the least invasive, and costly, that made the best difference. I can't say enough great things to anyone about him. I even had my son come from across the lake, for his back pain, for which he'd been seeing a chiropractor for months prior. And after just one visit, his back pain dropped more significantly than from any other method. He is a credit to his profession and there needs to be many more Dr's like him!

I’ve had chronic neck and shoulder pain for 20 years and various therapies have had limited results. I saw that Dr. Visger presented about shoulder pain at a medical conference, so I decided to schedule an appointment. Dr. Visger was able to evaluate the root cause of my pain, addressing causes that has been overlooked before. He has an impressive understanding of the body and the way various muscles etc interact. He provided direct and effective treatment, and he also advised me about simple exercises and ways to adapt my routines to keep me from re-stressing the muscles. After two visits, I had my first pain-free days in years! If you have a chronic pain problem to solve, it’s definitely worth a visit. As a bonus, this is a private practice (a locally owned small business), the office staff is excellent, appointments are on time, and scheduling is easy.

I’ve had lower back pain for 5 years. I tried PT, but it didn’t take away the pain. After one visit with Dr. Visger my life was changed. Highly recommend! The staff is nice and personable as well. So worth it.

I just recently started seeing Dr. Visgar and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is VERY intelligent, thorough, and has the patients well-being in mind at all times. I can honestly say that I was very skeptical, being that ive been through physical therapy with no luck. It’s hard these days to find doctors like him.

I have had nothing but excellent service from everyone at the office. They are amazing. Compassionate. They are always willing to work with you. They have done so much for me. Even with the type of manipulation he must do on me, he is gentle and observant. His front girls are the sweetest. I always talk to them when I call. I don't have to listen to a voicemail. Very people-centered office. I love the weekend hours he has available too. I just love that office.

Love him and his staff!!! He found the source of my back pain and headaches and has relieved most of my pain so that I can live. He does not keep you coming back like a Chiropractor and does not give me more pills to pop. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He actually listens and is not at all arrogant like many Drs. His staff are like angels!!! They are very caring ladies and will help you with anything. Including working with difficult schedules. I can not say enough about his Office.

I would definitely recommend him. He is an excellent doctor, he listens to all of your symptoms and even goes over your previous history in order to figure out what could have caused the problems. It is hard to find this kind of doctor anymore.

Dr. Visger is amazing! He listens, is understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is excellent. He is very good at what he does and within a few treatments is able to help get to feeling better than several practitioners and medications combined. I am very grateful that I was given a referral to see him and would recommend him to anyone. The ladies in the office are great as well!

I have struggled with left side upper back, neck, and head pain for months. Normal chiropractic and massage visits did nothing for me. I almost cannot believe how quickly Dr. Visger was able to diagnose my muscle issues, develop a treatment plan, and relieve me of the pain.. He accomplished this in only 3 visits. I will be returning as needed, and believe that I am in great hands now and in the future. Hats off to him and his staff. Professional, friendly, and always on time! Thanks!

I was a skeptic. But after many weeks of traditional therapy for back pain with lots of work on my part and limited results time and time again over many years, I was given an alternate option. Try this, and I did. There is no comparison to what immediate relief I have had in just one session and continue to have when ever I have a flare up.

Didn't verify any Insurance on a referral, recommended wrong stretches for issue at hand... $500 per hour to listen to bad comparisons and talks way too fast. Medically did not do anything for me and yet wants every penny for doing nothing!
