Had cataracts removed from my right eye. The left eye was done a month before and it was great. The right eye seems even better.

Dr. Ticho helped restore my vision. I no longer need glasses, only for reading small print. He is very patient & will explain everything he is doing.

Dr. Ticho did my daughter's cataract surgery in 2009. He did an excitement job!

He kept me waiting for an hour because of being short-staffed. Gave me card for free manicure in his new Beauty Spa where he removes tattoos with laser. Weird. Next appt., he had it set up so young girl assistants do all the screenings. At the end, you see him for results for 5 min. consult. Shabby way to practice.

This place should be avoided at all cost. $160 doctor visit that doesn’t include them printing out your actual prescriptions. That’s another $55. Ridiculous. They should be ashamed. We will not be back.

Dr Benjamin Ticho is an awesome eye doctor and surgeon. He was instrumental in helping me not only cope with my declining vision, but also helped me get accommodations on the job to address my low-vision disability. He suggested that I see Top-doc Dr Jennifer Lim at the U of I, and put me in touch with The Chicago Light House for the Blind. All these people and places came together and enabled me to get the best care ever....thanks Dr Ticho, you started the best changes in my eye care!

Very poor "bed side manner". My son had surgery to correct a drifting eye. And Ticho operated on the normal eye. My son still has the drifting eye problem. On top of that, billing office tried to charge me and my insurance for the procedure. Didn't want to refund me my money that the insurance company had paid as well. When I called before procedure with questions, Ticho would not call back. It wasn't until I threatened to cancel the surgery did he call.

4 year old with re-occuring chalazion. His staff did thorough exam but when it was time for me to speak to the doctor, he seemed rushed. Suggested surgery if it didn't go away &stood up as if to leave- I started asking questions & he seemed bothered by it. Did not have a good bedside manner and I was very concerned when he said SURGERY and ANESTHESIA. I called office for more info on procedure and possibly a website they would recommend for procedure - nothing. They don't have that -too common

Receptionist Lisa is very rude and with her in the front line I will not be recommending anyone to your practice...... which is too bad because Dr. Ticho was highly recommended, but there are lots of well respected drs with a friendly helpful staff. My blood pressure is still boiling from dealing with her
