Extremely rude
He was very rude and could care less about his patient. He’s not interested in doing what’s best for his patients in any way. Trying to advocate for my family member and he was completely out of line.

This is my 2nd review. Things went down hill due to Dr. Thomassons unprofessional follow ups. He reported incorrectly in my medical records regarding my prescription medications and his ego is unbelievable and unprofessional. So many things went wrong with this doctor and yet he blamed me. 2 surgeries later and one without proper pain medication as I was told to "make do". Arm re-injured during a flight and because of what he called a "bad relationship" because we reported him to the medical center, I was dismissed as a patient only 72 days after surgery and was told he wouldn't help me and neither would any other Orthopedic due to a 90 day rule??? Unprofessional and arrogant. The rest of the staff was great, but he is not, beware.

Superb Office Visit
Dr. Thomasson's office is very friendly and professional. It is quite apparent that from the office staff to Dr. Thomasson that they make patient comfort their top priority and this focus is maintained throughout the check in process to the discussion of treatment options. As a patient it is very reassuring to have all staff working so efficiently to resolve your troublesome health care issue and restore you back to optimum health.

Second surgery
I had 2 surgeries back to back in less than 3 months , Dr Thomasson is a great orthopedic surgeon I would recommend him to anyone… I would not change a Dr, that I feel comfortable with and Dr. Thomasson is one of those Doctors … thank you ..Not only with him, but the whole entire office, from desk to the medical assistant, very professional.. thank you so much ..

Very unprofessional and rude
I just had an appointment today and he spoke to me in an unprofessional condescending way. Maybe being feel very uncomfortable and I don’t appreciate it. This is not the first time. Excellent. Advised and well educated me
Dr. Thomasson was extremely thorough, explaining each procedure necessary. My case is complex and honestly he took so much time advising each procedure and what could be accomplished. The Doctor called me the same afternoon just to make sure I understood everything. I honestly feel at ease and completely confident in his abilities and my decision for Dr Thomasson to proceed with the surgery.

Beware of bogus fees & unnecessary surgery
Appts were assigned for each knee, at the first I had to inform Dr B.T. that he had the wrong x-ray up and was talking about the wrong knee. At my next, I was told I’d need a TKR - a shock for a 43yr old. My PT docs were equally shocked. The 3rd appointment was for the initial knee and told I need a diagnostic scope surgery. I scheduled, but sought a second opinion. At that appointment, the surgeon disagreed with everything B.T. had said. I immediately left that appointment and called to cancel the scope (that was 8 days out) & was told I would have to pay a $250 cancellation fee! The scheduler said it was part of what I signed with my new patient paperwork. After receiving a copy of the paperwork, the assertion was completely false! Their financial policy notes a 24hr policy. The office sent me a $250 “no show” invoice 8 days in advance for an unnecessary surgery. Fast forward just over a month later, and I’m no longer in pain after following the advice of my second opinion. Beware.

Post Op Complex Shoulder Cuff tear repair
Dr. Thomasson did a wonderful job explaining what he did in the OR at Surgery. He was, is meticulous! Absolutely a perfectionist and great bedside manner. Exactly what I was looking for in a Surgeon. Explained everything he found in OR at surgery showed me photos of what he repaired. His office staff Liz and his PA Luke or Lukas? Very gentle and listened to my wife and I. I recommend him Highly without reservation.

He is the best around
Dr. Thomasson was the first doctor (and I have seen plenty) to actually listen and understand where my pain was and didn’t insist on excessive tests or physical therapy first. He immediately gave me some treatment options we could try to lessen my pain and we agreed to try the shots. I have had pain in my left knee for many years and it was to the point I could barely walk. By the time I left his office and got to my car, my knee pain had decreased significantly … I could get in my car and even bend my knee. It has been 1 week since the injection and I can still walk around and bend my knee with barely any discomfort. In my opinion Dr. Thomasson is a miracle worker.
