Quack of a DO
I had high blood pressure - systolic number pushing 200. Symptoms of headache and neck pain from the high blood pressure. This DO tries to say that my high blood pressure is CAUSED by my headache. And that treating the headache will lower the blood pressure. He must have skipped cardiology 101 where they teach you that high blood pressure causes headaches.I have no history of migraines or headaches. I also have kidney issues. He gave me ketorolac, drug metabolized by the kidneys, to 'help' with my headache. Despite my extreme dehydration, I was not given IV fluids. Additionally, he prescribed me steroids 'to help the headache'. Steroids can cause an increase in blood pressure.He never treated my blood pressure. Despite his diagnosis of 'not presenting in a hypertensive crisis', he sent me home with my blood pressure remaining in the 180s. He decided to treat me for headache and pushed me to the side. What absolute negligence.
