Saved my life with kindness
I was hospitalized on may 3rd at a hospital in florence ky. I had a very unfortunate experience with the neurosurgeon there. I was faced with a life and death situation, the physician was very rude. The nurses transferred me to uc on may 10th, Dr Motley was very kind, understanding but most importantly he listened to my concerns. His kindness saved my life. I had emergency brain surgery for what seemed to be an abscess due to severely infected teeth. Once he seen the mass grew he explained to me what would happen and he did just that. Upon draining my mass he discovered I had not only a staph infection in my brain but a metasized cancerous mass. Stage 4 lung cancer that metasized to my brain discovered by a migraine. Dr motley saved my life on mother's day. Today I turned 42. I would not have lived to see today if he was not as kind as he was. And patience! I have had alot of bad experiences with doctors but this one is amazing! His bed side manner is note worthy. Highly recommend
