Dr. Benjamin Knabel, DPM

I originally saw Dr Knable in the ER on Dec 4th for a foot infection. He was very honest with me and told me if I had not got my foot looked at I probably would have lost it. I am happy to say that 2 surgeries later my foot has finally healed. Dr Knable and his staff are very pleasant to work with. Dr Knable may not be one to coddled you but I would rather have worked with a straight up honest guy in this situation than someone who beats around the bush.

My husband broke his foot and needed surgery. Every appointment, Dr. Knabel frequently contradicted himself. Whenever I would ask questions he would dance around the question and never answer. My husband expressed having nerve pain and My husband was also complaining of ankle pain and Dr. Knabel refused to xray or even acknowledge the ankle or address the nerve pain. My husband's last appointment the doctor said that a screw was backing out 'but it should be ok'. We are now looking at another doctor who will actually be competent in his job and listen to his patients. My husband also dealt with an infection after surgery that put him in the hospital and the doctor showed no concern. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

Foot surgery is no fun, but Dr. Knabel got it done! Very pleased with the results, both the functional stability and cosmetic improvement. Explanations were clear and concise. All patients heal differently, mine took longer, but I felt well-supported by Dr. Knabel and his staff all the way! Only wish I did it sooner!

So far so fantastic! Laid out everything clearly, he and staff were super-responsive, healing up from surgery now, they took great care of me and left me with no questions unanswered.

I had a horrible experience with Dr Knabel. I had a toe surgery that has still not healed from January 2018 (and it is June 2018) and I am still in pain. He has horrible bedside manners and overall lacks professionalism when it comes to patients (in my opinion). His office staff were not the nicest to deal with either. The office feels like it is straight out of the 1950's.
