Dr. Hendin is an awesome doctor. He has completed three surgeries on me and the experience was very professional. He's an expert in his field and I'm so grateful that I chose him as my doctor. After my wife selected him. His staff is good too.

Got me sorted with medication after I had a crisis with BPH on vacation. Gently persuaded me to undergo TURP after 2 years of hesitation. Found and removed trace of bladder cancer during TURP pre-exam. Successful TURP on 2nd attempt and successful follow op on cancer. Schedule sometimes slips a little when a patient is found to have a bigger problem than was originally scheduled, but since I was helped in such a situation I’m glad to wait.

While the procedure went very well, and the doctor seems to be an accomplished surgeon, the doctor did not concern himself with handling the area, surgical field, with care. I was just locally numb. The doctor handled me as if I had a general anastdic. He hurt me a few times. I am wondering how much of the post-op pain is from the mishandling and how much is from the surgery?

Waited 50 min. and still did not see Hendin, despite arriving 30 minutes early for my appt (in the waiting room for 1 hr 20 minutes). Can't comment on the level of care...but warn of his scheduling practices. Did witness an interesting little patient revolt when the office manager announced that all appointments could expect a 45 minute wait (this general announcement was made after I had waited 40 minutes past my appt. time). 2 others yelled that this was the 2nd time he did this to them...
