Dr. KIdder was very friendly.
My daughter and I drove for 3 hours each way for my appointment with Dr. Kidder. He took a lot o time with us, explained my health problem, order some more tests, and never made us feel rushed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Stunning
Whatever technical expertise Dr.Kidder possesses will be lost to many of the patients who could benefit from his service (would not use “care” in this instance because he did not show any). He was rude and annoyed when unfamiliar instructions were not quickly followed. He actively resisted information regarding my mother’s concerns. Imagine that leg pain might be related to mobility issues???He told us “that’s not what we’re here for” multiple times in quite dismissive tones. My mother and I left the appointment stunned and confused, not by potential diagnosis but at how we were treated as a patient and their family. We will find another provider.

If there was a zero, that is how I would rate him.
Dr. Kidder did not say but maybe 10 words to me. Checked a few things and said make an appointment in 3 months. Do not waste your time! Scheduled me for an MRI and gave me a follow up appointment in 3 months. Are you kidding me? I am hurting now and need some treatment.

Very knowledgeable
Dr Kidder always takes time to hear me out about current symptoms and any changes in my health. I have been seeing him for 15+ years with multiple neurological issues. His current nurse Diana is excellent. You can reach him by email in chart, voicemail to nurse, or speaking to nursing staff in the clinics call center. My questions and refills are answered promptly.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kidder!!!
I don’t know what influenced Dr. Kidder to become a doctor, but I give thanks daily that he did. I’m a 73 year old female, with an undiagnosed Neurological problem. I had given up hope. My daughter-in-law got me in to see Dr. Kidder. We were taken back in minutes. His Nurse, Diana, put me right at ease & I will look forward to seeing her! Dr. Kidder was in the room as soon as Diana finished. I was a new patient. I have never been to a doctor so thorough He went over all of my medical history & examined me head to toe. I was included in decisions of my future care. His first decision was, after bloodwork, was to order a test that would tell us if I had the disease my prior Neurologist had diagnosed me with. I did NOT! It’s no wonder I had continued to get worse! For the first time, I have hope. By the time I left (& I was given extra time) my only regret was that I hadn’t found Dr. Kidder sooner.

This guy does not listen to anything the patient says. I have an issue that started in 2006 after knee surgery that caused some nerve issues. It was originally diagnosed as dystonic movement problem for no other reason caused by misuse of a tourniquet. The recent issue is more that if I put my leg, i.e. hip, knee or ankle, in an awkward position I get additional cramping or stiffness in my leg from the knee down. He is hung up on a movement disorder problem. Even though he claims to be a movement disorder neurologist, he insists that I need to see a doctor in Houston, Tx or Birmingham, Al. This is the second time he has said this, and I went to Houston. Bottom line is he doesn't listen to what the patient is telling him. Have you ever tried to you ever tried to get an appointment with a specialist in another town without seeing them first? You almost can't.

One star is too good! He didn’t really explain exactly what he was doing but I did try to follow the instructions that he did give. At times he would tell me to move and I wasn’t sure what he wanted and he said, “Ma’am Ma’am what are you doing?” I was trying to do what he wanted. At one point he had me move a certain way and I jerked a little because it hurt (needles in my leg and electricity going through it) and he got a bit loud with the “Ma’am Ma’am what are you doing” comment and added “ I don’t want to get stuck by a needle. You are putting me at risk” with a more than perturbed tone about it. My comment back was that I didn’t want to be stuck with a needle either. So, he said to me “Well you made the appointment. What did you think this was going to happen?” Seriously??? I have never had this type of test and did not know for sure what it entailed! He, on the other hand, CHOSE this profession and knows exactly what this test entails (needles) Arrogant, rude, unempathetic!!

I would say if there was a minus star rating DR. B. GLENN KIDDER would get one. Very bad doctor. When in for help with my symptoms he looked at my MRI and I asked him to share with me the results he took the CD out handed back to me and said everything is ok. He gave me some sample meds. I had a question about them and he said just read the box you can figure it out. Then I asked him about my symptoms what he thought and he told me Mrs. ---- I DON'T HAVE A MAGIC WAND gets up walks out to his nurse she comes in to give me a sheet to make a follow up appointment with a PA. Never comes back in the room. I was fuming. HORRIBLE DOCTOR HE'S A JOKE. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

This was my very first visit with Kidder and I was hesitant due to the poor reviews. I have seen many physicians in my lifetime, and this, by far, was the worst experience with a so-called-professional. He was arrogant, rude, and unwilling to answer questions. If you’ve read other reviews and are still unsure if you should set an appointment with this guy, then take my word, you will have wasted money and time. Not only am I seeking care with another Physician, but I intend to find a different facility.

Dr. Kidder has provided excellent care. After suffering from migraine headaches for over a decade I have finally gotten the treatment to get this under control. His call center staff is very helpful in getting any questions answered. His nurse is always on top of things and takes care med refills etc. in a timely manner.

Dr K listened carefully and asked appropriate questions of me. I found him warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. My exam seemed thorough but the only shortcoming to me was not enough information on what to expect in the future with diagnosis of Parkinson's Plus.
